Any recent discounts when booking next trip while at WDW?

I remember reading quite a while back - that many resort guests were offered a nice discount on their next stay at WDW, if they called & booked the next trip while still on WDW property.

Is this an ongoing promotion, or was this just a one-time deal? We are going in Sept & may return for a short trip in Jan to visit family. We'd love to go ahead & book another room during our trip - any advice is greatly appreciated - TIA!

I know exactly what you're talking about, but I haven't heard of them offering those rates recently.
