Any recent Deluxe Reviews ?

I haven't seen many recent Deluxe Dining reviews lately. Anyone recently back and did deluxe? Did you like it? Too much food?

We are leaving in 2 weeks and I can't make up my mind in upgrading to deluxe or not. I do have my ADR's made.

I just returned on Sunday and we did DxDDP...

We liked having the option to do TS over CS and 2 days in Epcot we did just walk into Chefs De France and Teppen Edo and enjoy a nice relaxing meal.
We are appetizer people
We mostly had light BS - either at our Club Level or a snack credit - CS/TS for lunch and a 2 TS dinner most nights or a Character BK and a Dinner.
We used all credits up and all snack credits up.

Too much food? yes - because I didn't need an app with every meal and sadly the CS deserts STUNK and after the first I never never would have paid a dime for a new one.

Did I save $$- I have no idea because I refused to keep the receipts and ruin my trip magic/memory by stewing over lost $$

Would I do DxDDP again - no because I ate the way Disney wanted me to - not how my appetite wanted me to
Would I do DPP next time - no because I think it's of less value -

I would OOP and just let that day rule my eating style...

Unless you will stew over the $$ spent and worry that you might not come out ahead - do the DxDDP and enjoy having every option. It's basically buing a silly Food Insurance to eat what you want when you want and with insurance - it's not aways used..lol

Joanne, we just missed you in the AKL lounge. We were in a villa until 2/29.

We did the Deluxe plan for the first part of our trip when we were at BCV. We saved quite a bit over out of pocket. We also saved compared to what we'd have paid using our DDE.

We will do the deluxe plan again. We currently are planning to use it for a portion of our next stay.

We love table service restaurants. We don't care for counter service meals. The deluxe works well for us.
