Any recent 5 to 6 day hopper stories?

can this still be done at Guest Services? If we buy online ahead of time can we do this the first day or not at all anymore?

I checked in to this last November and they no longer do it, which is a total bummer.

Most (I'd be tempted to say "all") of the recent reports indicate that the CMs can no longer upgrade 5-day tickets to 6-day tickets. Early on (when the 6-day tickets were eliminated), there were some reports of CMs being able to do the conversion, but since that time, it seems like the system has been tightened up and CMs can no longer do the conversion.

No, they will not do upgrades. I was there last month. Asked everyone I could think of -- at the ticket booths, at check-in at both the PPH and the GCH, Guest Services at the GCH, the Guest Services 800 number, the VIP 800 number, AND my VIP tour guide, all of whom told me no. If you can't get it through VIP, you're just not going to get it.

I emailed Guest Services when I returned complaining about the policy and did get a reply from a real person, so at least know they read those. I suggest everyone who wishes they'd bring the old policy back do the same.
