Any rebooking courtesy given?

We were just on a cruise in May, and as much as i told my brother to rebook, he just ran out of time and didn't. We are going in July again, and only have 2 adults, so we can do two room but can we get him a room then too? Are the agents willing to help them out?

When you do an onboard booking, you can book up to two rooms on the same future cruise that will receive the onboard booking perks. You can book additional rooms, but they will be standard reservations (no perks).

I've read that, on occasion, additional rooms (on the same future cruise) will get the OBC, but no discounts on prices.

I believe you and your spouse can book two rooms for your next cruise, and put your brother in one of them. But can you go in June and your brother in July, on a different cruise?.... no.

I really empathize with you, I have relatives who are similar.

Sorry, I had to erase the rest of my post. I misunderstood and thought you wanted to add them to your July cruise. And DCL is adamant about not allowing placeholders or onboard benefits to be purchased after disembarking.

I had read reports that you can purchase a cruise onboard for someone else even if they are not cruising with you at the time. But I haven't done this so I can't be sure. I hope someone who has can chime in.
