Any reason we should NOT get APs?

All of these spur of the moment trips and 3 or 4 trip years sound lovely, but we live almost 1,000 miles and 15 hours by car from WDW. So the APs would most certainly be only for these two trips for us.

@kayemgi Don't worry, they still can help while you are here. My friend originally only bought a 2 day. But after she decided to upgrade to an AP, she was able to add a bonus night before she left and it was SOOO much fun. It just gives you more flexibility while you are here. Maybe you can fit in an extra evening if TT was down when you were there etc. It just gives you so much flexibility while you are there. If you don't want to get up early, don't. You can sleep in and go when you want etc. Because you don't have to see everything in the 2, 3, 4 park days you purchased, etc. You get to see the park on your terms.

The only thing I've seen that was better (for long distance folks) were 2 weeks unlimited access for our UK friends, which basically functioned like an AP while they were here. I wish that was available for us. I don't even know how much they paid but it was great fun, flexibility, and they really made it work for them...
