Any reason to countdown to the 60 day mark right now?

We're 70 days away from our trip & normally I'd have a plan, a backup plan, and a backup backup plan at this point, excitedly counting down to 60 days. Of course, right now My Plans on MDE is totally blank & I feel so weird about it. I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything...there's no reason to be counting down to any specific date, right?

ADRs open at 60 Days, but the only ones that seem to be taking reservations are a few of the Disney Springs restaurants. I go in about 30 days and I have no ADRs. It seems kind of silly to get any since I have no idea what I'm doing when I get there.

I don't know if you already have your magic bands yet, but they just started taking orders for Premium Bands again. I think that's pretty much it.

Today is our 60 day out day, and it feels weird not being able to book fastpasses. We had a plan when we first booked this trip (over a year ago).

Actual conversation with my DS14 this weekend (he is a WDW veteran and my theme park kid!).

DS- I just checked my phone. We are 50-something days from our trip!
Me- Don't get too excited, we hope to go, but a lot is still up in the air.
DS- Well what FP+ did you get?
Me- None, they aren't doing that right now.
DS- Well what ADR's did you get?
Me- None, they aren't doing that right now.
DS- Well, can I at least see what parks we are going to each day?
Me- You need a park reservation and they haven't opened that system up yet, so I don't know if we can even go to the parks.
DS- Well what do you know?
Me- Not much buddy, not much :P

I'd still keep it as an important date to keep checking for ADR's - maybe snag something at Disney springs because who knows if you will actually get into a park. So having a little back up plan can't hurt. It certainly won't be the same excitement that you normally would get for ADR or FP day, but take what you can get at this point.

I secretly do trip planning at work when i have a little down time -- needless to say I am almost lost with nothing to plan at 160 days out.

We are a few weeks from 60 days. While we are an inch from just cancelling September we are still going to ADR although we are going to do DS and Parks mostly since you can't park hop yet.

47 days for us till our scheduled trip (August 1). Pretty sure we will cancel but I guess will wait till last minute or once they ask us what our plans are. Had the free dining plans also due to our Spring Break trip being canceled. Very sad when our 60 days came and went and no Fast Passes to get. :(

We’re August 1 too. I agree it was very sad not getting FPs. It’s exciting to get them and plan. Same with the dining reservations which we’ll have to try and get again. I love the planning part. We’re already Beach Club Villas so we won’t have to move or at least I hope not. I feel for the ones that do though. That definitely has to be more stressful.

Old Key West for us. We love the 1 bedroom villa there. We have my parents in law who we definitely have to consider in regards to going/not going along with all the changes that have taken place for Disney opening back up. They are in their 70s.

This is only our second time staying onsite. OKW looks really nice! Oh yeah with their age and risks I totally get it. This virus sucks.
