Any problems w/ buffets not replenishing food?

We are considering a 10:50 am 1900 PF breakfast ressie. I think they shut breakfast off at 11:30. Has anyone experienced trouble with the buffets running out of food toward the end of their service time?

This concerns DH since he loves his breakfast buffets, and we have had it happen to us back home here. But I really don't want to leave MK before 10:00 (it's an EMH day) to make an earlier ressie.

Any experiences, good or bad, on a late ressie time?

(I suppose I should worry about that for our 9:15 pm Artist Point ressie too, even though it's not a buffet.)

No. The food will be as fresh and plentiful as it was when the place first opened. We always do late meals and have never experienced old food or empty trays.

we have never had any issues at any of the buffets we have gone to. it does not matter if it is breakfast or dinner all the food was fresh and plenty of it to match. as things were getting low they were filling it back up.

Never had an issue with late adrs with buffets or reg. TS restaurants.

No need to worry!

Enjoy your trip!!!

Excellent! Great to know - I think I'll just show him this thread. They did have an opening for a whole 5 mins earlier, so between asking you all and going "earlier," I've done my best for him! :)

Should not be a problem. WDW has the best buffets. I generally don't do buffets at home, but I will eat at buffets at WDW.

Everytime we have made reservations for a buffet on site, we have always made it for the last seating. We always have been given fresh food that has been replenished all the way up until we left. Love the buffets!!

We have done many late time breakfast buffets and the worst one we ever went to was 1900 PF. Not only was the food horrible but they were not replenishing it, had just 1 omelette station open in 20+ people in line and the noise level was intolerable.

Oh dear, we were doing so well up 'til now! :) (I grew up in Naples MickeyNicki- gosh I miss it this time of year, but glad we have a wedding to go to in April!)

So you didn't like 1900 PF's food and the late service was terrible. Not a good combo, I agree. I guess I'm still leaning towards giving it a shot - mostly b/c of timing issues I think. I'll still hope for a cancellation to open up elsewhere and also hope that maybe it was an off day at 1900 when you were there?

Decisions, decisions.

We like to nab the last breakfast seating - and 1900 PF is a favorite - and have never had a replenishment issue at any WDW buffet. OTOH, I've only ever seen one CM working the omelet station at 1900 PF so I think that had nothing to do with PP's ADR time; in December 2010, we had 8:15 ADRs there and I gave up on the omelet idea though DH was able to snag one. Food is otherwise just fine - typical Disney buffet food. It's a favorite for us because of the characters.
