Any problems getting Disney Gift Cards at Target in Phoenix?

I just moved to Phoenix and I need to get $1300 in Disney gift cards from Target this week. I live 20+ min from all of the area Targets so I'd like to find out if there are any Phoenix Target stores that give customers a problem with the Red Card discount on the Disney gcs so I don't end up spending an entire day trekking from one Target to the next til I find one that will take my money. Thanks!

There shouldn't be any problem, as all Target registers are programmed by Target corporate to ring-up the Disney cards (and apply the 5% discount if the REDCard is used for payment). The discount is not applied by the cashier, but rather, as the REDCard is swiped at the POS terminal.

Do remember, the KEY word is all Disney and other non-Target GCs are not called "gift cards" -- in Target parlance, they are referred to as "entertainment" cards.

Just remember not to ask the cashier any questions. They would probably tell you the discount didn't apply.
