Any Problems Getting A Deluxe Room In June?

Hi Gang

Just wondering if typically in June (actually May 29th to June 9th) is there a problem getting a room at a deluxe resort? Also more importantly getting a deluxe room in June and not paying an arm and a leg for it?

Just wondering.

I've never booked a deluxe room that time of year, so I can't answer your question, but figured I'd give this a bump to see if someone else can answer your question.

I believe that is near Memorial Day. My understanding is that they get busy around holiday time. I would just book as early as possible to get the resort I want.

We had trouble getting a room at the Contemporary for the first few days of June last year.

I've booked poly once and YC twice at that time of the year and never paid over $200 pretax with AP or code rates. We didn't go last year, but in 2003, the best discount was an AP for $225. I would be surprised if you couldn't get a discount, but it may be last minute. One of those trips, I "moved" us less than a week before the trip! Keep in mind that there are plenty of people like me who don't consider the trip plans to be totally firm until 5 days before check in. I've always had a back up booked in case nothing opened up.
