any PRIVATE dvc balconies.....

Just wondering if any dvc balconies are private...
right to left

when i stayed at WL....balconies had walls in between..
so you couldnt see your neighbor...

just looked at some pics of WLV and looks much
more OPEN...

Are all DVC's balconies the same....

They are all private. No balconies are shared.

At OKW you can hardly see the other balconies in the same building. They will be above or below you, and the others will be in a part of the building not visible from your balcony. All balconies are private....none shared in any DVC resort that I know of.

At BWV, if you are sitting on your balcony and look left and right, sometimes you see a wall, and sometimes, you can see the balcony next to you. It depends on the location of the room.

I think that private meant the villas have their own balconies, not a common porch to all. It's been too long since we've stayed at VWL or BCV, I don't know if they have privacy screens. We were at BWV recently and we could have reached across the fencing and shared snacks with our neighbors, no privacy screen at all. Yet, in October we were also at BWV and our balcony was really boxed in.

If you're staying at VWL, ask for a room on the 5th floor just off the elevator. Those balconies are totally walled in...you have to stand to see anything out of them. But they are very private....

Here's our view from VWL last month

You can see the balconies on the left side of the photo.

I've also stayed at OKW, and I believe the balconies there are more private because of their positioning.

At the BCV it varies. In general most are open. However some will have privacy screens if they 'share' a running baclony and some on the upper floors have enclosed balconies.
