There's no place like Disney.....however Silver Dollar City in Branson is nice and more of a theme park than say Six Flags which I think of more as an amusement park....I hope that makes sense.
I agree- there's no place like Disney. It really is the happiest place on earth. We go to other places for quick weekend trips, but we VACATION in Disney
We have been to many parks on the East Coast...knoebels, Hershey Park, Seasame Place, Dorney, Sixflags, etc and there is absolutely NO comparison anywhere we have been. Bush Gardens Williamsburg is nice and about the closest but will never come anywhere near the family resort Disney has become! We are huge Universal fans and love all the parks there have to offer but it still doesn't have the same magical feel like Disney does. Still a great value though and a fun place to visit while in Orlando! Disney has the best food, service, and family oriented rides and attractions by far. We can't wait to visit DL when the kids get a bit older
