Any Pittsburgh Disers out there??

LOL! I was going to say...well, if you are a Browns fan then.....sorry....you can't move here! ;) :rolleyes1 :teeth:
:teeth:
I've been a Browns fan living in Pittsburgh for 20 years. I also got 96% on the test, although no yinz (or gumband) is spoken in my house. I like the Pine-Richland district, but it is growing so fast we have to keep building new schools! I vote for Cranberry for you (just kidding, you can come fill one of our new construction houses and pay lots of taxes).

then you should definitely know there is an H at the end! :rotfl:

Hey! Cut him some slack! He's a dingo now! :)

I actually spell yinz as youns. It's my absolute favorite word in the whole wide world!

I saw warsh a lot, too!

Of course, I was educated in the Cleveland, Ohio area- which is why I only had 6 mistakes! I can multiply up into the 12 x's as well. That's right! I can do 1x12 and 12x12 REALLY good... INSTANTLY- no hesitation at all!!! :earboy2: ) ..... I'll bet none of you guys can do that! ;)
I know some of the same stuff. We learned a lot here. You should enjoy those hilly walks over there. :wave2:

I've worked so hard to lose my Pittsburghese. My head hurts at every family function :headache: listening to all the yunz, n'at, Mt. Warshington, etc. I even call that sugary drink soda instead of pop.

I got 100%. I had to guess on a few. Lived in Pgh. over 30 years.

Well, then, wherever you live in Pittsburgh, you won't get as much snow as you did in Chardon. There's no lake effect here. The temperature will be about the same in the winter, and there are more hills, so driving can be tricky. Keep that in mind when you're buying a house. Steep driveways were a deal breaker when we looked at houses.

People always said they knew I didn't grow up in Pittsburgh because I didn't use those words. :)

Pittsburgh was a nice place but Florida is much better.

NO WAY!!!!! It's a small world! No.... TRUELY.... it is! It's such a small little town I'm surprised anyone has ever heard of it. I've always said that Chardon is the belt buckle of the snow belt! It can really get dumped on!!

We decided to go last night(Sunday evening) because if next weekend is nice it WILL be packed. It was perfect for crowd level. It was cloudy but it was dark quickly so didn't matter for that. They did have things set up differently and more staff directing traffic. My DS is only 5 so he had a great time. They could use some more decorations but other then that it was nice for little ones. We had fun. The craft secton was in a small area and it could get congested. They had paddle balls for the children to decorate. We took one to decorate at home.

Have fun at all the Halloween parties this week pirate:

Wow! There really are a lot of Pittsburghers! I say we should have a meet. I really don't like Kennywood though. How about Sandcastle? LOL.
