I can feel myself being sucked into this pin thing. Only think is, I am (a bit) past 30 with no kids in sight. Anyone else out there like me, or I am in the shameful minority? I guess I could grow up...but that is no fun.
I trade with CMs all the time when we are down there, and my DW will only trade with CMs and children. We have made many friendships with other collecters, like on this board, as well as CMs.
We actually are a pintrading family of five....but, honestly, I think we're the exception. From the DIS pinpals around here, you'll find that there are more without kids, than with kids.
Count me in to the 'child-less pin collector' group. I agree with the other posters that more adults are pin traders than kids. It's an addictive collection!
We had a blast trading with the CM's at WDW last December. I was able to assemble a little more than half of the Wild About Safety series that way. The CM's don't care how old you are when you pin trade. As long as you are polite and follow the rules, they don't mind at all. Maggie
Count us in as childless collectors. DH just turned 59 on Tuesday and I consider him a super collector. He doesn't trade much, but he does purchase for his collection. We live in the NorthEast so we really look forward to our trips to WDW. Our next trip is Easter weekend.
