You should be receiving the booklet (with your luggage tags) any day now.

That's it. Once you got the booklet & luggage tags, that's it. Just an FYI in case you accidentally forget or misplace any of the things you do have, you can show up at the port with none of it & be fine. Porters can tag your bags for you curbside. There's nothing really in the book you need the day of to sail. Even the signature forms can be printed at check-in in the cruise terminal for you to sign. (I misplaced my signature forms between parking the car & getting to the terminal once. I was freaking out. But it was just fine. So juuuust in case you ever have that happen, don't panic!) Having the signature forms already does speed up the process. I know someone will come behind me and be like "OMG! You have to have the forms because they say so!" LOL!

Just as a note. There's been a change in the check in process. You no longer print out a Signature Form to bring with you.

Note where it used to say "Signature Form" it's now just the "Port Arrival Form"

Yup. Have a cruise coming up soon. Haven't really looked at any of it, tho. So nothing to print anymore? Yay for paperless!

Well, I think you still print the Port Arrival Form. Typically, you need something to show at the entrance to the port/terminal that you are authorized to enter.

In the mail from Disney
And they didn't come in a little booklet?

What would be REALLY cool would be if you could pull it up on the app and flash it to the port security folks. No paper to print at ALL.

It's coming. I have faith. ::yes::
Maybe it might be, but I believe the paper form is still required by the Gov't as a hard copy proof of embarkation from that particular port. Maybe at some point they'll move to a paperless process, but in this day of hacking and computers that crash, having a physical copy of record is always still preferable by official entities.

OP - are you staying at Disney prior to your cruise and what you got was the DME luggage tags for that? Those are usually solid yellow.

The cruise tags, as Shmoo has depicted, usually come in the cruise booklet.

Yes, I will be staying at AKV - DVC prior to cruise. I know the tags are DME(thank you).

Don't they look at the passports at the terminal gate and look you up on a list?

Pretty sure I've only ever shown the booklet once.

According to the Disney Cruise Line Blog, Castaway Club members have the option of choosing to only receive luggage tags and not the booklet when doing the online check in. http://disneycruiselineblog.com/201...h-all-new-youth-activities-registration-form/ (It's near the bottom after all of the youth registration info.)

I can't tell if the OP has cruised on DCL before, but if they have that could be why they only received the luggage tags. If appears that you have to actually specify you want the booklet at check in.

Edited: Just saw that the OP's luggage tags were actually from DME. Never mind! :-)

Well, that's new. I didn't have that option when I did my online check in in Feb.
