We'll be around the resort but are doing the Half this year. I know there are usually a few WISHer's at OKW. But I can't remember who else stays there and what race they are doing in 2009

We get in about 10.30am Thursday. Doing the 5K Friday and want to hit packet pick up early.

I didn't know you stayed at OKW! This is going to be soooo cool!!!! We can ride to the 1/2 start together Which bus do you plan on being on?!?!?!? We arrive on Thursday and now with the Expo starting so early we will probably go directly to the Expo before checking in.

We have 1 person volunteering for the 5K (Cathy) and Mom (Barb) is planning on doing the 5K (signed up just hope her legs hold up) Susan and I will be cheering. Breakfast at Wolfgang Pucks afterwards and then back to the resort. We will keep an eye open for you. You might still have my cph from my shirt order, if not PM me

This is going to be the COOLEST trip ever!!!! (as Mel quietly makes alternative hotel arrangements to get away from the crazy woman who seems to be following her at races LOL)

I usually only sleep an hour or two the night before a race so I'm generally on the first bus just cuz I'm bored by that time I may rethink that if it's as cold as it was in 2006.

Just found the thread. We (6 of us, wife sisters and DH's) are staying at OKW for the 1/2. First half, first time at OKW. Boy are we excited. We added two more nights after the 'deal' came out. See y'all there.

Quick question to bump us back up.

We are doing the 1/2 and looking at the maps we are pretty close to the start. Does that affect the time you leave to get to the start? Is 4am the standard time to catch the bus? Can you walk?

Just needing some first timer tips. Thanks!
