I could tease about what you think is hot, but I won't. We've been in the 90s regularly since June. We don't get much below mid 70s at night right now which is a killer. This summer ahs been really bad for us since we are in a drought as well. Killer humidity, but no rain :(

I have a friend in Seattle and she swears she doesn't want to move out of the PNW because she hates it over 85 :rotfl:

I think she's cute :p

Now that I've teased her, I do hope you get teh a/c soon before the worst of the summer comes. I hate aug weather ;)

I called and got the grumpy receptionist. She said I would have to wait till 3 and if I haven't gotten a call then I can call back  Otherwise I would have to leave a message for the nurse.

It should be in and operational by the end of August. Just in time for the heat of September (usually in the upper 90's and low 100's).

Seattle is usually cooler then we are year round plus they get more rain. I have never been to Ohio but I have been in Vegas when it was 112 and above and Florida when it was upper 90's and so much humidity you could cut the air with a knife and I will say that I like where I am just fine.

Just checking in...

Kristy...sending positive vibes your way!!! I hate waiting around for phone calls...it drives me CRAZY!!

I had electro-acupuncture today. It was weird. I am not sure what I expected...but this was not it. I had to lay on my stomach...and I swear she stuck 10 needles in my a$$!!!!! Then ran a current through those! It was not in my top 10 of pleasant experiences. :rotfl2:

Rebecca, what you describe in FL is about what we get. Our averages are really on par with central FL... the only difference is we don't get any ocean breezes at all like they do on the coast or any air movement at all like they do in Orlando. If you can suvive Orlando you can survive my part of Ohio (more or less). The more north you get the better because you are more likely to get lake effect weather... cooler and a gentle breeze at least.
For us the worst part is actually August for the weather. Usually 90-100s and 90-100% humidity no rain.

Kristy, we should go hurt that receptionist... she could check or send you to a nurse to see  ;)

Kristine, you are a brave brave woman there! I am terrified of needles.

Hi everybody!

Kristy, I am on the edge of my seat over here! I am thinking good thoughts for you!

Welcome to all the new posters. I hope you won't be here too long ;) I am beginning to feel like an old timer.

DH went in for his SA this morning. I feel really immature, but the thought of going into some room in a lab and doing that makes me giggle. He was all put out, like I can't believe I have to do this, and I am like buddy, you've seen the stuff I've been through. I don't want to hear it.

I have the surgery scheduled for 9/10. I had to push it back as I got a new job (yeah!!!) and didn't want to immediately take sick leave as soon as I started. I gave my notice today and it feels WONDERFUL!!

Hey, how about letting me in on your little bake-a-thon? When I got home from work last night, DH was in the kitchen baking cookies, and it smelled wonderful. It made me long for him to be a SAHD! :rotfl:

Kristy - it's 2:58, have you called again? Don't worry about the grumpy receptionist. And definitely leave a messge with the nurse. Heck, it's what they do, and they should be happy to call with the good news (still optimistic, here!)

Congrats on your new job! Giving notice is a great feeling when you are going to a better opportunity.

DH and I were sitting on the porch the other day laughing about his SA. It took us off guard that they wanted to do it that day. They put us in an exam room. He complained about the bright lights. :lmao:

I left my nurse a VM at 2:43 asking her to call me either here at work or on my cell. I explained that I'm on pins and needles and apologize for pestering her but I NEED TO KNOW NOW! :teeth:

Kristine you have me cracking up with the butt needles and shock. I don't see where that would be comfortable at all!!

Okay....so y'all remind me if I have to do this again to refrain from telling so many people. I know they all love me and mean well but if I have to say "no results yet" to one more person I may scream. It's my own fault for being a blabber mouth and sharing it with the world. Gotta learn to keep some stuff to myself.

We will, as long as you still blab it to us! ;)

:rotfl2: Glad you put DH in his place ;) ;) Tell him to think of being a teenager again :teeth:

:rotfl: sorry that just struck me as funny. But I don't blame you. Luis was trying to say that some of the stuff the guys go through is just as bad as a gyn appt. My doctor quickly put him in his place ;)

Denea, come join us on the bake a thon. My kitchen is cleaned but honestly I have no desire to bake. I just want to sleep :p

Kristy, it is so hard to keep the mouth shut during some things. You wouldn't believe the questions I got after the D&C. Once people know, your life becomes everyone's business

Kristy - I just wanted to let you know that I read down this page hoping for an answer with my heart pounding!!! I am hoping you get the news you are waiting for ....
