Any opinions on these two hotels?

We are looking for a hotel closer to the airport than any particular theme park, for one night prior to us leaving on our vacation (Aug 18-19) and one night returning (Aug 28-29). (We live in Jax, but are flying out of MCO; going to Belize. Will need check in around 6-7pm for the first night; will be closer to midnight on the return.)

Has anyone stayed at either of these hotels, and care to share an opinion?

Is there another hotel within 20 minutes of the airport that you would recommend?
Looking for these parameters: King bed, decent bed, no/low parking fee, no resort fee, no bugs or late night partying, and less than $150 a night? (Trust me, if I could talk DH into staying at the hotel at MCO, I would...he wants a lower priced place, sadly.)

TIA!

Your choices are quite far from the airport compared to the dozen or so hotels just north of it on/right off Semoran Blvd. Look at a Google map and check out the options.

Your options aren't airport hotels.

We stayed at Springhill Suites Orlando Airport and booked a room that included parking at the hotel. There is a shuttle that takes you to the airport.

Also, you don't have to pay for that first night in a hotel if you are just driving from JAX and arriving that late in the afternoon for a late flight. You only need to book one night for the parking deal and it can be the night when you return.

To be more clear, you leave JAX and drive to the hotel and park there. They will shuttle you to the airport. On return they will pick up up at the airport and you will spend a night in the hotel. The next morning you eat your free breakfast and drive back to JAX.

There are likely other stay/fly hotels that would work for you, but that is what we used.

A park-and-fly rate is a great option; this is good advice. Sometimes it is worth paying a few extra dollars for convenience.

I would recommend the Embassy Suites Orlando Airport, great hotel, all suites, free airport shuttle, and a full free breakfast (with a made-to-order omelet) included.
I’ve stayed at the Embassy Suites near MCO the night before an early flight, and it was a good experience. I cannot speak to the breakfast (we left too early for the airport), but the room was clean and the shuttle was on time. I booked it through Priceline so it was really inexpensive, too, and the suite gave us room to spread out.
