cheers margaret.

I stayed here in May of 2001 via Priceline and found it to be a great place, particularly for the price. The rooms were comfortable and nice looking. The bathroom was average with the vanity outside the room with the toilet and tub but there was a small, odd shelf in the tub room where you could line up items. It was not wide but went the length of the room!!! The public areas were pleasant though busy. It is connected to the convention center by a LARGE walkway. We only ate at Red's Deli and thought the food was really good. The pool is decent size with some nice foliage around it but not spectacular. Request a room on a higher floor. Our room was down behind another building so we had a view of the roof and AC units. It was only for one night so not a big deal.

stayed here a couple years ago at easter through priceline bid of about 35.00 per night. nice hotel, very large, parking was far from the room, it was also during prom season i believe, several going on in the downstairs ballrooms. They do have valet parking. This hotel comes up quite a bit on priceline.

We stayed there in July and it was perfectly fine - not great, but certainly not bad either. The biggest downside is that the car park is about a 10 minute walk from the rooms, although almost all of the walk is through the massive lobby. I would agree about the high floor (we were on 22), but would try to get one facing Sea World for a good firework display. The rooms were fine, yet again, if a little dark, although the bathroom area was quite small. We stayed for 2 weeks and didn't have any complaints at all. The pool is a good size for a decent length of swim and didn't appear to have any lounger availability problems, even although there was a constant stream of conventions going on. A big plus is that the hotel is very well placed for getting to and from the airport, parks and malls, as it's just off the Beeline Expressway and close to I-4 and Universal Boulevard (never drive down I-drive after Universal, unless you like sitting on the brake).
