They have changed the way the queue goes for Fast Pass, and not for the better may i add. You now turn right and go for a bit and then you have to jostle myour way into the main queue, and they are none to happy to let you in, seen a few words exchanged, and i do not blame them as i would not be happy.
The single rider line still goes the same way , so not sure why they have changed the line for those with Fast Passes, as it seems to be causing friction in the line ,and TM are not interested in stopping the normal queue to let you in, so you have to jostle your way in.
The single rider line also was much quicker than the FOTL queue, as you join the normal queue down a bit from the ride.
Anyone any opinions on why they have changed this.

We noticed that when we were there in early June too. We thought perhaps it was temporary because of the painting on Hulk but if it is still like that, it isn't temporary. It is the way Popeye used to be. People didn't want to let you into that line either...I thought the park changed it because of those issues.

I noticed this too the last time. I think it's bad also, but it works like Dragons Challenge. Maybe they were getting complaints that they are unable to ride front row.:confused3

No it was implemented because the ride got too many complaints from guests wanting to ride the front row, and with the old line in place, it wasn't possible to. So now, the park listened, and decided to bring the Express line up and merge it with the regular line earlier.

I agree, it's a bad system. But oh well, the guests complained, they got it.

EDIT: Sorry Bluer101 didn't see you, but you were right about the front row issue.

I agree that's not the best change. Wasn't there a sign stating you couldn't wait for the front row if you in the EP line? I thought there was which would have been the disclaimer...or should have been. You are right though...if people complain long enough changes will be made...for better or worse and that's what happened here.

Well, hopefully they complain again and the park comes up with a better solution than this one.

Somewhere I saw that disclaimer too. I like the old way better and if I wanted front row I would go early in the morning or wait in line.:thumbsup2

i'm thinking if i go when the park is first opened, i will just use the regular line than the express.

no tensions then.

i'm there for 8 days.
not a problem for me using the regular line.
in a way, it will be great.

more of the story line is presented when using that line.

yes, there was that disclaimer for homies in the express line for hulk.

but, of course, there would be times where a guest would whine and the TM allowed them front row.
did see that twice when i was in line on the landing area.

Oh well, maybe complain when over again, as we prefer the back row anyway.
maybe it the TM stops the line to allow FOTL guests in would help solve a few issues with those queing, as i would not be happy letting people push in just cause they have FOTL

Am I to understand there is no TM at the merge point? That would be unfortunate.

No, I know a couple leads there and they told me that a TM at the merge point is a required position from open to close. Whether the TM there is actually properly merging the 2 lines (close on off, let one go through) is another question.

In May there was a TM stopping the line.

Last time I was there (end of June) there was a TM who would stop the line to allow the EP people in.

We have been twice the last week, there is a TM there , but it was up to the FOTL people to merge into the queue
