any opinions on Pirates Museum Nassau?

My kids are Huge fans of POTC movie and wondered if this museum is worth it? they are DS 9 , DD 11

Has anyone been lately? any photos?

any thoughts are appreciated. With only one day in Nassau
trying to plan the best activities.

We plan on going there in a few weeks! I've read many good reviews and only a few bads ones, but we're big pirate buffs, so I'm sure we'll be happy with it.

LOVED IT! Hubby and I went a few years ago. We were CM's at Pirates of the Caribbean at WDW and thought it would be fun. It ended up being the highlight of our stop in Nassau. Here is a link to their web page

We really enjoyed the tour, our tour guide was Janette (she was absolutely lovely) The tour is pretty cool. They have it set up as if you are on the ship, you enter onto the dock and then through the entry way onto the ship itself. The tour was very informative and even intreged me to go out and buy books on Pirates to learn more. It was very well done. From the web page if you go to the link for "The Museum" you can take an online tour...it will show you a little bit of the musuem.

Not sure if you know how to get there, so I thought I would give you directions. It is very close and the walk is all through the downtown shops where everyone will be so it is very populated.

If you get off the ship and head to the main strip, Bay Street...heading to the right on Bay Street. Go a few blocks, just past the Straw Market make a left onto George St. You can't miss the building it is Purple... There is a map on their web page you can print out and take with you.

We always recommend this to people that are interested. It was a fun experience.

I did the tour in May and it wasnt that bad- Wasnt the best tour Id ever done was a bit cheesy in places but for where it was- it was worth the 12 (I think it was) bucks-

My only complaint was the gift shop- They could do sooo much better
