We have scheduled the Mickeys BBQ for our upcoming trip in September. We are spending the day at AK and then will head over to FW for the BBQ.
Any one have any really good or really bad experiences here? Wasn't 100% sure that we should do it, but I did think that dd2 would enjoy a little time at FW with the pony's, petting zoo, etc... TIA.

I wasn't impressed, I prefer the Hoop De Doo.

The campfire movie is fun, though - and free (and you can meet Chip and Dale and buy S'more kits). Plus they have the wagon ride, which is minimally priced but fun. The petting zoo is just a shadow of what it once was, it won't take long to get through.

We had a bad experience. Now this was 4 years ago so things may have changed. At that time the kids were 2, 4 and 5 and I felt that there was very little organization and that it felt like a free for all. We actually left early because I was afraid the kids were going to get trampled! Food was good, just felt that it wasn't run very well.

We did Mickey's BBQ a couple of years ago, and it was ok. The food wasn't very impressive, and there were so many people there! We will not do it again. Especially if we're on the dining plan I think it's 2 TS credits (so not worth it). But we can say been there done that.

Thanks everyone!! I am so back and forth on this. We have 2 ts credits left to use up. One on the night after we visit ak, and then one that we could use on our last evening there, probably at DTD, planet hollywood maybe?
Dh I are not fancy eaters, so we go for the plain stuff, lol.
