Any opinions on Embassy Grand Beach Resorts

We have the chance to stay at Embassy Grand Beach Resort. The search does nothing for me, has anyone been there and is it nice, or a dump?

I stayed there two years ago, in a one bedroom. Lovely resort, light years from a "dump". It has a small "beach" which was very nice... I miss sand living in Landlock town!

We stayed in a 3 bedroom that we loved! The pool was nice. The resort was clean. And it was pretty!

you are talking about the timeshare right???

We stayed in a 3 BR unit for a week in December. It was very spacious and clean. I would love to stay there again. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the links, and thanks to all for your opinions. When I checked the Sunterra website, it said you could book a 2BR suite, but someone here says only 3. Is that the case?

The way it was a few years ago when we were there is that Sunterra owned oen building (may be more now) and the rest of the resort was owned and run by another company. The Sunterra building(s) are the newer ones and are lock outs so you could have a 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom rented out seperately.

The older buildings that are owned/run by the other company (Embassy?) are regular 3 bedrooms that cant be split

We are staying in one of the regular 3 bedrooms in July by the way!
