Hi everyone,
sorry yet another thread about travelling to and from the airport

I have been searching all evening for a suitable shuttle service to take me and DD6 to DLP from CDG airport.
I have had a recommendation to use RS shuttle services and emailed them for a quote, however they quoted more than is stated on the website (website says 50E for 2 people, they quoted 60E in the email) I think 60E one way is a bit steep for me and 1 child on a shared shuttle so I have been looking at alternatives.

Anyhow to get to the point, the cheapest one I have found is Paris Shuttle www.parishuttle.com but before going ahead and booking I wanted to find out if anyone here had used them? and if so what was your experiences?

:thanks: for any help :thumbsup2

You may have already checked it out …. I guess we will be following the hoards and packing onto the VEA. It’s the most cheap I’ve been able to find for one way at 17 Euro for adults and 13 for kids 3-11. It’s a big bus instead of a private shuttle, but that is Euro saved I can spend in the park. They do have several options as far as time schedules to and from DLPR/CDG. If you haven't cheked it out it's here: http://www.vea.fr/uk/infos-tarifs.asp

Thanks Sherette, I have looked into the VEA but as I'm arriving late on Sunday evening, I think I will be too late to catch their shuttle :(
Paris shuttle seem to be reasonably priced, but I'm a little wary of booking unless I know that someone else has used them OK,, so if anyone has???

I'm afraid I haven't used them either, but I have had a quick look at the website, and the fare to DLP would still be 80 euros for the two of you. Their shared shuttle is reasonably priced, but the service only seems to be offered between the airport and the city - unless I'm missing something.

Thanks Becky,
I have emailed Paris Shuttle for a price, but am still awaiting a reply, if it does work out at 80E I will end up going with RS I think. :flower1:

There are two companies with very similar names There is Parishuttle.com with one "s" and Parisshuttle.com with 2 "s" in the name. http://www.parishuttle.com/

I've used the one with 1 "s" and always been very happy with their service.

Hmmm not sure which one it was!!! didn't realise that there was 2 companies with the same name :confused3 I will have to check this out!

Thanks for the heads up :thumbsup2

The one with the two "s" has some real bad reviews on Trip Advisor (but then again you'll find someone who used it and was happy with it).

I can only vouch for the one with one "s" and we booked a bus for 8 people going from t3 and back and they were good service both ways.

Well I went ahead and booked with RS, I had emailed paris shuttle (turns out to be the one with 2 s's) and the email got bounced back as undeliverable, which wasn't a good sign. RS got back to me and said that the extra 10E which was quoted different from the website cost was because I was arriving after 9pm, so I thought fair enough. Its definitely worth the extra cost to use a company which disers have recommended and to feel confident that me and DD6 won't be stranded at CDG late at night :thumbsup2

For future ref the parishuttle (1 S) are great :thumbsup2

The one with 2S's though do not bother with-lucky escape if email bounced.

I am not sure where they got there advertised english speaking driver and clean well maintained vehicles from as we saw neither of those things not to mention we frinally found the guy after about 20 minutes-he was walking round the airport with a sign that said "Defile"

our surname is Duffield....

:scared: Oh Dear!!
so glad I didn't book with them then!!! Thank goodness for the bounced back email. Hopefully I won't get any problems with RS :smickey:
