Any one Purchase a Custom "disney " shirt from disney .com

I need to know if its is worth it to get shirts made for the family? I want to but a set for all of us and DH is willing to wear one that alone is worth buying them , Any way i want to know if it is quality, or should i chance it and try to get matching shirts in downtown disney !!

I'm not sure if you are talking about disneyinkshop (which I believe is also called zazzle?) but I ordered a Dopey shirt for my DS for Christmas. The quality was very good...not a cheesy thin shirt, but a nice beefy fabric. A little pricey, but it made him VERY happy!

We've ordered the personalized t-shirts from disneyshopping.com two times now and have been VERY pleased. The t-shirts are excellent quality -- we still have ours from 3 years ago when we visited WDW for our son's 3rd birthday. The t-shirts are not the same as the general t-shirts from their site. They are a poly/cotton blend -- very nice feel. They also have not shrunk at all. I checked out zazzle and they looked very good too -- but they didn't allow me to "write" much on them. We ordered our shirts for May from disneyshopping.com again. They are just as nice as the ones from 3 years ago.

My sister has bought my DD a sweatshirt and a jean jacket from disneyshopping.com and both were of excellent quality, the jacket has stitched princesses on the back, no iron-on. Both items has her name stitched on them. I would recommend them.

I checked out both websites and am wondering if you can put messages on the t-shirts. It looks like you can only put names on them. I would like to have a phrase put on. Is that possible and how can I do it?? thanx!!

Yes, it is possible through disneyshopping.com. You have to order the "create-your-own" personalized tees. Although, when I just went to disneyshopping.com's website, they have something new called "you design it". You may want to see what these are also. I'm not familiar with these. The ones we ordered are the create-your-own personalized tees. These you can personalize with your own phrase. Although, I will warn you, Disney is much stricter now than the last time I ordered -- they have definite rules on how you can use "Disney", "Disney World", etc. My wording was rejected twice I believe.

Zazzle -- as far as I could tell -- would allow you to add a phrase on SOME of the shirts, but you had to choose from their phrases. You couldn't put "Jones Family Reunion", for example.

Good luck! Also, be sure to order early. I ordered two months ago and they had only 1/2 of the sizes we needed in stock. The other half was supposed to be available the middle of March. I need to get on the phone to them and see if they've received them. I'm just hoping we get them in time for our May vacation. It wouldn't be very good if the birthday girl didn't have the family t-shirt.

Hunnybee, when I used disneyshopping all I could find was the zazzle shirt site. I remember a while back the disney store site had a shirt option where you could submit a phrase to put on a shirt, but I can't find that now. Kind of a disappointment since I'm planning a grand gathering and I wanted to include a date on the shirt.

I got them from the disney store online.The shirts are nice quality.They did run a little big and are preshrunk which would be good if I hadnt ordered tghem too big!

Go to www.disneyshopping.com. In the search box, type "create-your-own tee", just like I have it typed here (without the quotes). It doesn't come up easily -- you have to know what you're looking for! The "you-design-it tee" will take you to Zazzle.com. You need "create-your-own". Please let me know if you are still having a hard time finding it.

These are the ones you will be able to put names, dates, etc. on. Hope you find it! Let me know if you don't. Maybe I can have my husband help me put a link on the next response.

Yup, we do it every time we go! the first time we had Tee shirts made with a family name and slogan on them, the second time we had shirts with a colar on them and had a small map of california on it with a dot marking where we were from on it and our names on them. They are pretty good quality...the kids still wear theirs and they haven't shrunk. We will be doing something like that again this year.

I ordered a shirt for my daughter using the zazzle link on the above post. I created my own tee-shirt for my daughter - no canned phrases - I wrote whatever I wanted AND I uploaded her picture on the tee. I got it in the mail today and I was thrilled! The picture turned out great - it's a picture of her making the SHHHH face with her index finger to her lips and on the back it says - "I'm going to Disney World today.....but...don't tell me because it's a SURPRISE!" She just turned three and can't quite read yet - so we're planning on her wearing it on the plane ride. I would totally recommend using zazzle - all told, my custom shirt cost just $21.00 including priority shipping.

No, I designed a short sleeve tee with my own wording. Go to zazzle and click on the "start now" button and go to the pick a product page. Click on create t-shirts. it loads the template. Create your shirt, then on the apparel info tab, you can choose basic tee shirt, infant tee shirt, long sleeve, short sleeve, henley, sweatshirt, tank, etc...

You can choose the color tee, the size etc...from this tab. Thenon the customize tab, you can create the art, or upload the pic, whatever.
