My DH and I are considering buying a jogging stroller. He's leaning towards the BOB Sport Utility Duallie. Currently we own a Baby Trend double Sit and Stand and it's a freaking breast of a stroller! Hard to push and even harder to stear. I know this one is quite large too but I'm thinking the side by side might be nicer. :confused3
Does anyone own this stroller? What are your thoughts? My DH is already a pretty avid runner and I would like to also start running. Hope having this kind of stroller might motivate me to get out more! :lmao:

As a side questions. Has anyone taken one of these strollers to WDW? Last year when we went we rented a double City Mini and LOVED it. How does a mini compare to a BOB? Would we have any trouble lugging it on to the Disney transportation?

Thank you!

We have a Revolution Dualie. It is the only stroller we've ever owned. We love it! We don't use it like at the grocery store or mall, but it is great for all things outdoors (walks, the park, zoo, etc). We're taking ours to WDW in May. I'm afraid it is going not be great on the buses! It doesn't fold very small, but it is easy to fold and unfold.

I can't compare it to any other strollers b/c we've never used another.

We had a BOB single and then a double when our kids were younger. I ran with both. I can't remember exactly which BOB's we owned. We loved it! I ran with both the single and the double. The single did not have a swivel wheel and that made it hard to run with. If you plan on running with the doulbe be sure to get the BOB with the front swivel wheel. We never took the stroller to WDW....we rented from Orlando Stroller rental.

We have the Double BOB (Stroller Strides version). My 27lb 18 month old and 40 LB VERY tall 4.5 year old still ride in it. I don't do a lot of running, mostly walking...but it pushes easily. Mine does have the swivel front wheel. As much as I love this stroller, I won't be taking it to WDW. It's rather bulky after folding, not as easy as the City Mini.

Hi! We had the double BOB Ironman for our twins. (No swivel wheel). I liked it OK. My husband is a "runner" and he ran with the kids in it all the time. I would not get a swivel wheel for running. Walking, swivel is ok, but not running IMO. I didn't have a problem steering it and the kids were comfortable in it. The things I didn't love were the shocks and the adjustable handle bar. The shocks are more comfortable for the kids but it bounces when you run. Also the adjustable handle bar makes it give when turning. I liked our older double jogger with the fixed handle bar better. (They didn't make the same model of the Kelty double jogger we had for our older two children anymore which was why we went with the BOB.) I also felt it was short in the seat compared to our older jogger. My kids are long and skinny and their knees where up in their chests much quicker then my older two were in the Kelty.

What I did like about it was that it was easy to fold (even though we mostly kept it in the garage unfolded!), I liked the cup holders/snack holder. I also liked the sun shade. It covered both kids well in the hot sun. And I liked the buckle on it. That was easy to adjust.

I found myself really missing our Kelty most of the time we had the BOB but in all it is a good stroller. It got a great deal of use and held up fairly well. In the end the seats were sagging but over all I can't complain. I was able to sell it on Craigslist for $100 bucks after 4 years of daily use. (5-10 miles a day).

We never took our BOB to Disney. We fly and I would never fly with that huge thing. I never even put it in our car. :lmao: We used our MacClaren Twin stroller for everything but running. Malls, Disney, airport. It was just so much easier.

Good luck and I hope you find the stroller of your dreams!

We have a BOB Duallie. It was the best money that I ever spent on any baby gear. It is a pleasure to push - glides like butter. It is super comfortable for the kids. It is the best! I think it is a must for an avid runner. But even for the non-exercise outing, it is so much easier to push than any Graco, Maclaren, or regular old umbrella stroller I have tried. :thumbsup2

I am taking it for the first time to DW in May!

We had an InStep Pro double side by side from LL Bean's of Maine. We took it everywhere! I just measured the wheels and they are 30 3/4". We were able to fit it just about through everything. It was a tight squeeze some places, but we could always fit. The bottom bar broke this past summer after 8 or 9 years. We just bought a double side by side Bob stroller this past winter. We haven't used it much yet, being in Maine! It feels like a cadillac, very smooth with the swivel wheel! The wheel base measures 29 3/4", so it should pretty much breeze through spaces compared to the old one! My husband hasn't gotten used to the folding yet and it is much bulkier folding then the old one, but it doesn't have the front wheel stick out either. The other stroller had such big wheels we were able to go hiking with it. These wheels are quite a bit smaller, but not as small as typical ones.

We plan on bringing this new one to WDW with us because of the convenience it gives to have it and to have your own! We will just have to get used to it, just like anything new. But I do agree it will be more a pain on the buses, but wont stop us. We love our double strollers!

Oh, I will miss the rain gear that slid down from the top visor when it rained! The kids stayed very dry. And I hope they will be as shaded in this Bob stroller as the old one, it had a long visor.

I am looking forward to the dreamy stoll though! We even put our over 50 lb son on one side to see how it pushed, still pushed great! With the older stroller you could feel the weight!

Just wanted to tell you that you can buy a rain cover for your double BOB. I forget how much we paid for it, but we did have one and we used it quite a bit. (We lived in Portland OR then and it rained A LOT!) Anyway, it is available in case you wanted to check it out!

I got a Duallie after DD2 was born (DD1 was 2 1/2). I strictly use it for long walks from our house or a trip like Disneyland or the zoo. When DD2 turns 4 I'm going to consider selling it. Even at Disney she doesn't want to use it a lot.

I would not take the Bob to Disneyworld because I would not want to deal with it on the buses or on the airplane. Otherwise, it's a GREAT Disney stroller. Gets through most doorways and turns on a dime. Very comfy for the kids too. It is heavy when folded and can be a hassle getting in and out of my trunk.
