Just had to share! My baby (Steven) turned 21 on Monday. I cannot believe it. I do not know were the time has gone. He will be graduating college in 2008 (god willing) and be out on his own. This is hitting me harder then when I turned 50.
I have not been on in a while because we have had no Internet since Saturday. For me that is hard to handle. I sit with my laptop and watch TV.

Happy Birthday to Steven! 21 - VERY exciting!!

I have GREAT news! I am finished with my classes for this semester and I got an A in one class and a B in the other ( I chose not to do the optional research paper to get an A). I am sooooo happy!
and here's the really good news.............
the student that has been giving me trouble will be homeschooled starting in January!!!
There really is a Santa Claus!!
I hope I don't sound to terrible but I have literally been skipping around and grinning from ear to ear. It's a huge load off me.

Hi all,

IM soooooooooo excited, I finished school yesterday and today I'm packing up for our Christmas trip away. For those who don't know (There can't be many). Dh and myself (+3 dogs) are taking our motorhome to Yorkshire for Christmas. We are leaving tomorrow so today its loading the van, so we can leave bright and early tomorrow.

I wanted to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a Spectacular 'Disney' 2007!!

Thank you for all the help, and advice this year and I look forward to sharing lots of Disney talk next year.

Christmas in WDW was amazing! I've never been to see it all decked out for Christmas before. Flo - as a DVC member now you have to look for the $8 red light Spirit airline specials! Rachael and I flew for 3 days to Orlando RT from Philly area for less than $40. We stayed during the week for 12 pts per night for 3 nights. In fact the park tickets for 1 of us was more than I paid for the rest of everything put together. Of course as a dvc member you get a pretty good deal on a season pass ;0 - just in case a good deal of air pops up next summe or fall! Jen and Marci - hope you all had a magical trip.

HI ALL!!!!

I agree Lisa, how did you find out about the Spirit deals???? We don't have them here in Peoria but we can drive up to Chicago without too much trouble!!!

So, did everyone have a Magical Christmas???? Ours turned out great! I got sick last week for about two and a half days. Then I got the call that everyone wanted to go ahead and change Christmas Eve celebration to 10 am instead of 6 pm. So life was a bit harried around here for a bit. In the end it all worked out beautiful. We did have to laugh pretty hard though...at 2 am on the 23rd I was adding lights to the 9 foot tree in the den! The neighbor across the street is an OB/GYN and she got called out around 2:20. She got to watch me "teepeeing" the tree. Yes, I literally was throwing the lights back and forth over the tree. When she returned at 3 I was standing with one leg on a chair and the other braced in the window with the tree pulled down to me "cleaning" up the lights around the top of the tree. She had to think us absolutely nuts!

Our best surprise was that Abby got a portable "boombox" for her iPod. The clothes were okay...I didn't pick out anything too uncool. Whew! The boys were thrilled with theirs. The big hits were their docking stations for their iPods and Notre Dame sphere chairs! It was definitely tough finding the right things this year. Tom was an awesome Santa and had a necklace from the cruise in September...I had had no idea! He is way too sneaky!!!!

Well, give us the scoop on Spirit if you can. What else did everyone get?

Tif - you are CRAZY!!!

We had a great one. My mom and I cooked for 20 people on Christmas Eve (my side) and then 22 on Christmas Day (Dan's family).
Whew!
We had a great celebration.
The boys got a lot of PS2 games. Nicholas got his live cockroaches.
And Nolan got an autographed baseball that said Merry Christmas Nolan from Nolan Ryan!! (you can send things to him at his foundation and he will sign them for a fee).
Speaking of baseballs, Dan and his brother got really excited about my interest in baseballs autographed by non baseball players so they went a little crazy. I got 7 baseballs signed by:
Jack Nicholson
Dennis Quaid
James Woods
Harry Connick Jr.
Billy Crystal
Will Ferrell
and....Johnny Depp (that was my favorite!)
I also got an autograph picture of Jack Sparrow on top of the mast (from the first movie) that was signed by Johnny.
Dan loves to search eBay.
I really didn't want all that but that's okay.

Lisa - Dan LOVED the beer. He was very surprised!!

The boys and I have to go back to school on the 2nd but Dan has another week off. The boys are in the pool right now. We heated it for the holidays.

Hello my friends!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! We had a rather low key evening with friends and our kids, playing board games. The thing I loved about it, was that we could simply breathe!

Enjoy BOWL DAY!!! Wednesday the Ferlmann household will definitely be fired up...Go Irish!!! Notre Dame vs. LSU in the Sugar Bowl. Of course, we will watch all of the games today though. We love college football!
