Hi Everyone! I just finished watching it go by the last of the 3 cams. I keep telling my DH as it went past one of the Cams that that will be us next week.

Tif, I agree with you instead of dancing in are houses we will be dancing on the Magic.

Hey Tif, we just got the worst rain here in IL. Are streets are flooded and we had hail, Lightening and thunder. My son and the kid acress the street went out and cleaned by the sewers so that the water would go down. I even got kind of scared because the water by are down stairs door was almost coming in.

Hi Tif - We are having lightning here also. Nothing like you have - ever. But we've had many more lightning storms than we have ever had before. You know us Southern Californians - we don't have real weather here. Hope everyone is okay.

We just saw the new movie "Monster House". It was a lot scarier than I thought. Not for kids under 7 in my opinion.

Back to packing! I've got my treats ready to go. I only have 10 packs to pass out so I assume we are exchanging with those on the list.

We had terrible storms here in Georgia tonight, too.

Valerie, my daughter is on a trip with my parents to CA right now - spending tonight just outside Yosemite. I googled your town, and I see that you are still pretty far from where she is staying. Wondered if they were having bad weather, too. She still gets a little nervous with storms. (cell service is not too good in and around the park - they said they'd call me tomorrow afternoon.)

Today was a day spent packing, shopping, and just plain busy. Its been hot and humid here with temps almost at 90 but sounds like Flo had the worst weather

Just finished up the last of my paperwork and I'm tired. But thats okay since we leave for WDW tomorrow afternoon

I know we have too much clothes, shoes, etc. I don't know how we are gonna fit in the full size rental car....I think we are going to have to get a bigger car. As it is we have 5 large suitcases, 2 carryons, 1 stroller.

oh well...time to sleep and stop

Just checking in - IM trying not to spend too much time sitting @ computer to rest my back - (yeah as if)

BBQ was lovely and very typical of the UK - ie it rained - not for long though & I had a lovely night.

Yes Flo it did help thinking about the magic -every time I got a sniffle I would look @ the calendar on my mobile (cell) phone.

Helen...we did SSR for 4th of July!!! It is truly one of my all time favorite resorts!! It is not our home resort, but it is the DVC resort we try to stay at! The Turf Club menu looked great, but we didn't get to eat there...just didn't fit the schedule.

Tif we have an adr for thurds when we arrive (if plane is not delayed)

What is your home resort?
We are BWV but we added on SSR last year!

Carla, I think she should be fine. We don't get much "weather" so not much to worry about. I'm sure she's having a blast!

Speaking of packing it's my DH that is packing everything! He insists on taking 12 pairs of socks for everyday we are gone. Even though he's bringing sandals!!

I giggle a little when I think of our cruise meet. Our husbands are going to be rolling their eyes and looking at us like we are so silly. My DH teases me all the time about my new friends. I think my 2DS are a little confused. But it will be so fun.

We leave at 4 am PST tomorrow morning for the airport. Only an hour drive. I wish everyone a safe journey also.

Jen -- we will have as much or more luggage, and there are only 4 of us! I am trying to conserve, but with dress-up clothes as well as casual it is very hard.

Valerie, My DH and DS (more so him) think I flipped my lid! So I know what you are talking about. BUt at least my DH is making me a sign for the DIS Meet. I am goning to try and watch all three cameras today again to watch the wonder sail.

- my DH!! - I couldn't even get him excited about the Magic sail away yesterday. He wanted to know "why the excitement, when we're not on it." He's a really good sport, though, and he'll get excited next Saturday!

By the way.. I've been reading these threads about terrible dining experiences with tablemates they don't know, and it has me a little concerned. Last DCL, we cruised with extended family so the dinner conversion was a wonderful comparison of everyone's events of the day. It truely was one of the hi-lights of our cruise!

Anyone not travelling with extended family, have the late dining and request the 8:00pm seating? That's what we requested, and I've been reading about DISers linking their reservations together so they'd be comfortable with their tablemates. We'd be interested in linking our reservation if anyone has the same request. I believe it is the APLAPLA rotation.

Well the cases are finally out of the loft - So i'll start packing tomorrow in earnest!

I've also the hairdresser coming to do cut and colour my hair.

I will be so pleased when Im actually in the USA and on the ship. I wish I didn't have the stress of packing & travel !!

ok, Now I know I have lost it. I watched the Wounder sail past all three cameras today. All, I kept thinking is that is going to be me on Saturday . Let the begin.

Also, remember I said I was done shopping. Well guess what I was putting things into my suitcase last night and I realized the my cover up for my swin suit was not there. I think I left it in FL. So I was on a mission today. Guess what no one has any. SO a bought an oversized shirt for now. Maybe I will find one in Key West. Then while I was out I bought a black pair of sandles with a heal.
