Hi Kenny,

This will be our first family Disney cruise. Our boys will be 10 and 8 and our DD is 2 1/2.

DH & I have cruised before but not with the kids .....can't wait!

DId you cruise DCL before or was it another line?

We'll have to get your boys together with my DS (9). What do they like to do? My DD is easy to entertain on the cruise...she loves the kids club. My DS, on the other hand, is a little more shy... he likes video games, baseball and basketball.

We're looking forward to meeting everyone. Hopefully, the hurricanes will take a break this summer.

Hi Kenny,

This is our first Disney cruise. DH and I cruised before on RCCL and NCL.

Sounds like our boys would get along well. DS 9( will be 10 in May) loves his video games and his main sport is baseball. DS 8 also enjoys the video games, baseball and played basketball. The boys are really looking forward to the cruise and they really enjoy making new friends on vacation!

I have two boys, ages 10 and 7, and they both also love to play video games, baseball, basketball and soccer. They also love to spend a lot of time at the ping pong tables on the ship. They are both kind of shy but warm-up after a while. Maybe when it gets closer to our cruise we could introduce our kids to each other via e-mail and pictures? I think that would make a big difference if my kids know names and faces before we board.

I think it must be the after christmas feeling but I can't get enought of the dis boards at the minute. Its not long before our counters say 5 months and some .



What are you looking forward to?



As Ive only done 3 and 4 nights cruises previously I am really looking forward to doing bruch @ Palo and taking the galley tour. Dh is looking forward to key
west.

I'm looking forward to many things, but I'd have to say at the top of my list is seeing my kids faces as we get our first glimpse of the Magic, and hearing her horn as we sail away. I get goose bumps just thinking about it!

We're with you guys. We really could use some warm weather and some R & R. It's not very warm in Cleveland right now. If the kids weren't in school, I think we would do a late Jan. or early Feb. cruise. That's when we need it most. Let's hope that the hurricanes take break this year.

Has anyone heard how the people of Cozumel are doing now? I saw pictures of the main cruise ship dock and it was destroyed. I hope they are getting back on their feet now.

Dh and myself arrive in the usa on 27th and have 2 nights @ disneys SSR before the cruise.

I have been able to make my 2 ADR's for Planet Hollywood and Ohana's - so cruise must be getting closer

We are also staying at WDW for a couple of days before the cruise and made our ADRs.....getting closer

We also have some points at SSR and we really like how quiet it is there. Our kids really liked the Community Hall. My son loved the video games there and they both liked the crafts.

That's great. We'll be staying at BCV for a few days before the cruise. We've never done that, but I thought it would be a great way to get wound down for the cruise.

Hi we have the majority of our points @ BWV but added on last year @ SSR! Couldn't resist it. Wev not stopped there before but we will be going back to SSR for 5 days after the cruise aswell !

But we had to decide if we wanted to go to Port Charlotte and see my son play college baseball at the end of February or go to WDW for a couple of days before the cruise. It was a no brainier for me to go see my son play ball. I also get to be in warm weather two times this year.

How exciting to watch your son play ball at the college level! What team does your son play on?

Yes, it is very exciting. The parents are a lot of fun to. He plays for a Division III school in Milwaukee called MSOE (Milwaukee school of Engineering). He is a catcher.
It will be nice for the kids to meet each other before the cruise if it works out for everyone. This way when they board they will know someone.
I can’t believe that tomorrow we hit the 5-month mark. I have a lot to do. We want to get passports before the cruise so we do not have to worry about the birth certificates. Also, this way when the rush is on because you need them to go out of the country we have them. I just want to be on the Magic with a tropical drink in my hand watching it sail away from port.

That's a great idea. We're arriving at BCV on the 24th also. Our kids will be 9 (DS) and 7 (DD). How old are your kids?

We love the Beach Club. The pool is amazing.

That's sounds like a great time. My son loves baseball. You can't miis your son.

The cruise will be a great follow up!
