The '0' that is typed in is actually a zero. It should be a capital 'O' which is wider.

I am not sure there is an error. In riddles such as these, the phrase 'the alphabet' in the first sentence would be spelled wrong. You spend all your time looking at the letters and not the question, where the mistake is located. But that is not the case here.
