Just curious how it was? I got me wife and 3 kids. We plan on doing it in two days most on first day and last 3-4 hours the next morning. I have no idea where we will stop that night. I figure wherever 10 hours gets me. Any suggestions?

Or do u do it in one trip? We orally drive to myrtle with no problem. That's like 8-9 hours.

Doing it in one day depends on your endurance, potty break, and traffic. It can be done, but it can also turn into a bit of a nightmare.

10 hours from Baltimore, without any major traffic issues, will get you a little south of Savannah. Its another 4ish hours from there to Orlando.

The worst part of the drive is the DC beltway to Richmond. We usually get up super early (5-ish or earlier) so we are through Richmond and into North Carolina before 8 AM. Once you are south of Richmond, backups are usually accident or construction related since there aren't any major cities with commuter traffic until you get to Jacksonville.

On summer weekends there can be a lot of volume on the roads in NC and SC with beach vacation traffic.

i would try Savannah or Richmond Hill, Ga. this is where i would to make if i do not have adopted adult daughter with us. she has medical problems and we have to take extra breaks.
