Any one have pizza or flat bread lately?

I read on another post about the dry wheat bread. I can't imagine pizza with wheat dough? Has anyone tried the pizza or flat bread it is it disgusting??

Just had lots of pizza at DW this last week. Honestly, I barely noticed a difference. We had pizza at Pizza Planet twice and once at Captain Cook's (not sure if that had supposedly changed or not). I did notice some hint of multi-grain the second time we had it at PP but it's still just as good! No worries!

I haven't been to Disney lately to eat the new crust, but we used to have a local pizza parlor that served the BEST wheat crust pizza. It was different, but SOOOO good. I used to have trouble deciding between the wheat crust and the homemade sour dough

We had the flatbread at the CS in the Poly and it was disgusting. We also had a slice of cheese pizza from the Spoodles take out window and DH said it was like eating cardboard with sauce and cheese

We love pizza on whole wheat dough!! Better flavor, but that is at our local place that has a brick oven that is over 100 years old! Man they make great pizza!! (hang on........locating menu for dinner tonight..... ok, time to finish post)


My experience in WDW is that they have generally mediocre pizza. Some people have cited the water in Florida as a problem with making the dough for the pizza. Maybe it is even more prevelant with wheat dough.

We ate several of the flatbreads at the CR this past Spring break. We all thought it was pretty good and didn't even really notice the wheat crust.

In January 08, the pizza crust at PP tasted the same as it did in 2006 to me. Have they changed it since then?

I haven't eaten it at Disney...but I always choose wheat crust for pizza if avaliable

I had the flatbread/pizza at Captain Cook's last week. I really enjoyed it a lot, and also think it's better than before.

I don't think it's 100% whole wheat, they probably have a blend of white/whole wheat.

Also had a hot dog at Casey's, and didn't realize that they were wheat buns until I read it here on the boards. They were tasty too! Of course, the health benefit is negligible when you add cheese sauce to your dog!!
