Hi all. We are heading over to WDW in May for a few days at SSR and then over to VB for a few days. May 9th to 12 at vero actually. Inn room ocean view. This will be our 3rd year in a row going to Vero the 1st week in May. We love it then.

Anyone else going to be there the same time? It will be DH and myself along with our girls 5 years and 21 months old (at the time.)

Last year we "ran into" a Dis member our 1st meal there. It was pretty funny!

Looking forward to it. Anyone else? Who wants to dance us us? :cool1:

We're going on a 4 night cruise on the Wonder and will be driving to VB on the 11th, staying till the 13th. Just me & DH, kids are all grown.

A cruise and then Vero! How fun! I always thought Vero was a pre curser to a cruise. All the activities and the beach (I haven't been on one yet, we are suposed to go Next May 07). In fact that is one reason I really wante to go this year, we won't be able to next since we will be on the cruise and my SIL and BIL want to do WDW after.

Look for the really cute babie (todler now) and little girl with the long brown hair! (see sig for more info!)

We will be there 11th-13th Inn rm ocean view DW birthday trip then on to SSR to meet up with DD on Mothers Day.This is our 1st trip to VB but hope to make this trip every May.

We're doing just the opposite, VB May 6th to 9th and then over to VWL till the 13th. Sorry we'll miss you. This is our first trip to VB, any tips you could offer, dining or other attractions in the area.
Have a great trip

We'll be celebrating DH birthday on May 12! Hoping to find a candle to place in some kind of dessert!!

skelooch, too bad we will miss you. I can wave on the highway! :rotfl:

tjhsr, we over lap some. I love the inn rooms with ocean view. We like the 3rd floor. The rooms are so great and the view is amazing. Out on the blacony and it is really like being right on the ocean. (only a few steps away and you can be.) This is one thing we love about VB, it is the easiest way to do the beach with young kids.

We really like Captain Hariems (spelled?) Great food, decent prices (downight good prices when you are used to WDW prices.) Fun place too. It has a sand bar that looks really neat, but since we are always with kids we just eat and go. It is north of the resort in ................ Sabastion. Took me a min but I remembered the name of the town. :cool1:

This year we want to try the ocean grill too. (in Vero Beach)

It is a nice small town area. There are a some stores, a mall, a strip mall but it is good trip (30 min or so) to get there.

The resort is very nice. Laid back and fun with lot's to do (at least for kids) I see a lot of adults resting and relaxing and having fun too.

We heard the prices at Shutters (the resort resturant) went up so I don't know if we will be eating there too much. With the kids it is easier to eat food from the grocery store by the pool or in the room anyway. (and cheaper.)

We are getting the dining plan for the 3 nights we are at SSR. This is the 1st time. I expect to be stuffed by time we get to VB and in need to not pig out so much. I hope my suit still fits by time we hit the beach! :teeth:

We always meet the nicest people at VB. :Pinkbounc

Hope to see you there.I will make sure to say hello. :goodvibes
