Any One Else a Freshmen???

Ok, I'm starting school on September 1st. And i'm a Freshmen. Is anybody else a freshmen kinda uneasy about hight school? And do any other high schoolers have any thing to say to us new comers to the high or high school???

if i had only one thing to say it would be to get involved. join a club or do a sport. it really helps you to get to know people. dont be nervous; its not that bad. does your new highschool have a freshman orentation day? that's a great way to meet people. and remember, most people will be nervous too. so dont worry and have a blast!

thanks. yeah i'm already signed up for some sports and clubs. i'm not that nervous i just don't really know what to expect. and we did have an orentation day and i did go with like the rest of the 100 kids in my grade. we have the biggest grade like ever in my town. i did meet alot of other kids and have alot of new friends.

Hello!

I am going to be a junior, and I remember my first day of High School (I was so scared I was going to get lost). I know it seems SO stressful right now, but after 3 days, you will be FULLY adjusted. High School really does stink sometimes, as you will find, but the memories you make are irreplacable.

You change alot in HS too. I was going to say you "grow up" but you really dont, . It's fun to shed the old skin of Junior High (where, in my opinion, you couldn't be yourself and the "popular" people ruled the world) and just move on and find new friends and new experiences. You are under a microscope anymore, I love it. You are finally your own person.

I hate starting school, and I really don't want to go back. But in a way, I can't wait to go back to drama and make some new friends and greet the incoming freshman. It's all an experience, and I hope you don't get yourself all stressed in the coming days like I did

I went to orientation with the other couple hundred in my grade ( I go to one of the biggest HS in NJ...go TWP Min. Men) But next week I have a transition camp where like the kids who signed up for it meet the teachers and figure out how to get from class to class and all that. This should be fun....not!

yep, i agree ^. it may seem foreign to you at first, but you'll get adjusted in a few days. ummm... i cant think of anything else right now

I'm a sophmore this year and my freshmen year wasn't bad with the other upper-classman just don't let them step on you. Try out for a sport or something...It's really not bad...To me it just felt the same as my Middle school years just you had a lot more work. Mainly just have fun!

I'm a freshman this year, too. It's a little scary, but I was totally freaked out about middle school too, and I figured that out pretty quickly. I'm sure it's not as big of a change as from elementary to middle.

I am going to be a freshman and I am excited to start because I go to a 7-12 grade school and I really want to be on the swim team because our swim team is horrible. The 7th graders are the freshman of our school. My sister is going to be a freshman though!

I am a sophmore starting Monday. It wasn't so bad, but I was in band, so I had a bunch of upper classmen to help me know what teachers to have. So yeah join a club. Also it might be suggested to take a Class with upper classmen, like a foreign language. Last year was the first year they taught Latin at my school, so half of the class were seniors getting a credit. But this only works if it is the first year of the class taught Good luck and don't be worried.

You think you have it tough, being a Freshman and all? Last year was my freshman year and I was new to the school district... and the state. The first day was pretty tough, not knowing ANYONE... but as other people have already mentioned, I joined a bunch of clubs/sports and made a bunch of new friends Good luck to all you Freshman out there... it's not as bad as people say it is. Have fun

hey , I a mgoing to be a freshman too...but I have nothing to worry about because here freshman go ot juniorhigh even though they are still High School freshman
