Any one at DL for easter?

Albort, wouldn't it have been a convenient time to start practicing Christianity?

In an hour I get on a plane for Las Vegas......sad thing is I am a Christian, the date didn't register until I was all booked !

It was so stupid early this year it's no wonder! St Patricks day and Easter in the SAME week??? They say it wont' be this early again for over 200 years!!

:confused3

I might head over there after I am done with my shift at work. I get off at 6pm, but start a new shift tomorrow at 6am. So I am debating if it will be worth it or not!

(splash, thunder & space). I know I would love to be there right now. But I'm going to my grandma's to spend time with my family, so it's all good.

Plus I'm going to Disneyland in May for the 2Fer (parkhoppers!):thumbsup2

:faint: <-- Cast Members working at DL.

Albort, how did you become a CM? Did you do the college program or just applied? I'll be transferring to CSU Fullerton (planning anyways) in '09 and want to work for Disney.

I'm sure Albort will tell you about him being a CM, but there is another thread that was around here just recently talking about becoming a CM and all the interesting things that go along with it, it's probably on the second, third, or fourth page by now, though.

I was so close yet so far today :sad2: We went for the Easter Brunch at the Hotel and originally planned to go into the parks but sadly plans changed. So I hope to make up for it by going this weekend. But we still had a great time!

I wasn't there for Easter but for the Thursday and Friday prior. The parks were the most crowded I have ever seen them. (I have not been there in the summer). You had to wait on lines for many rides even if you had a fastpass. Since we never had to wait with a fastpass before, this really blew our mind. Lucky for us, we were in no rush to go on every ride. We did get to the parks early and were able to do a lot in the morning.

So now I know, I will never go for Easter :rotfl:

We are going May 9th (friday) for just Disneyland, my friend isn't too interested in DCA and we save money by not paying for a hotel & food.

Oh well, I'm OK with it.

We got there about 1:30 on Easter, and we actually thought it looked lighter than we expected. We had no problems getting into the parking structure, I've been on days when the line is over the bridge. Then we got onto the first tram with no difficulties. There were no lines at the bag check, and none at the entrance gate. Even walking down Main Street felt pretty light. We got our fastpasses for Buzz, and then went over to the Haunted Mansion where we had a 10 minute wait. We rode Indiana Jones, and even though the wait time said 40 minutes, it was actually 20 minutes.

Maybe it's because we go so often (about every 2-3 weeks), that things didn't look that bad to us. Christmas time and Veteran's Day where much busier, I thought. We just know that if a line is at a certain point, we don't go on it, but will come back a little later in the day and it will be better. That happened at both Pirates and Jungle Cruise. Of course, we don't try things like Space Mountain or the subs, we can come back and do those the next time. Plus, we don't watch Fantasmic or the fireworks since we've seen them so often, so we usually try to leave before they are over and the rush for the trams start. Maybe the key is getting there later in the day?:)
