Are there any shopping deals in any of the stores onboard? Spend so much get an item for a certain amount like WDW does? Shop on a certain day and get a discount on a certain item?

If you have one of the Disney Chase Visa cards, you get a 10% discount on shopping in the stores on board. There are some things that are excluded from that discount. There are sometimes things that are on special that you can purchase if you've already spent a certain amount. Some of the things I've seen in the past of included blankets, beach towels, and various bags. Some items that are branded towards a certain season do occasionally go on sale, such as trading pins.

I honestly don't remember 100% if they had an offer like that; if they didn't it wasn't anything I was interested in, maybe a back pack.

I did find a sale rack and got a really nice dressier hoodie for $35 down from $59. Actually, I think I have found a sale rack every cruise.

If you have your Disney Visa you get that discount when you spend $50 or more.

They did a spend so much and get this.... when I was on in March, but the item was also available for sale for the same price, so not really a deal. Then again, those ones in WDW are probably the same, but just not available to purchase without the minimum other purchase.

Several of the cruises I've been on had some sort of "sale" items. Even tho I didn't get to go on the Hawaii cruises I do have one of the DCL Hawaiian shirts...got it on sale for more than 50% off. Usually what I've seen are on re-positioning cruises so DCL is trying to get "rid" of the Caribbean stuff on the EBTA or the last of the Alaska stuff on the EBPC.

Once you are gold, you get a discount in the stores on the ship. I believe it is 10%

Just off the Magic Canadian cruise and all of the Canadian Coast merchandise was 30% off. My DH found two styles of Nike polo shirts that were marked down to $50 from $75. Since it was a Marvel Day at Sea, the purchase with purchase was a Marvel fleece blanket for $20 with an additional $60 purchase. They were sold out by the second day.

Are there any items that are only available onboard exclusively?

That was great they offered a deal on The Canadian merchandise.
When we sailed the second and last Hawaiian cruise in 2015, I waited for them to reduce the prices of the Hawaiian items, they never did. When I got home I went to the disneystore online to see if they had anything there, nothing. I guess they just sent it to the warehouse stores throughout the country. Glad I bought what I wanted onboard.

The ships used to be more exclusive. Now many DCL items are available at the Disney store. But, things that are cruise specific, like the Panama Canal cruise, are usually found only onboard.
