Any odd room photos?

No pictures but the 2 BR accessible units at BCV are a bit different.

The connecting door is in the living room rather than the entry. This allows room for a closet in the entry.

There is no lower counter space on the front side of the kitchen peninsula.

And of course the bathrooms are different.

This cracked me up! A misspelling of peninsula gets zotted by the "bad word checker"!

And to contribute to the thread's actual topic, we had a corner 2nd floor studio at OKW that had a not-so-great view of the Miller's Rd. bus stop. I can't recall the room number now, but I'll look it up and edit my post later.

Yikes, I better try to fix that!!!!:surfweb:

Verbal descriptions are great because someone may not realize they have photos of an odd room photo since it's the only room they have ever been in or it just seemes normal to them.

Don't forget, I can help you post them if you need it :)

I suppose that qualifies in a off hand sort of way :)

This is the one from the 360 thing on the official site of the end studio pool view at VWL:

If I am not mistaken, there would normaly be a door there.

I swear this was the room we stayed in last year. The balcony was cool because there was no one to the left of you.

Does that window open? If so, is there a screen in it? I have thought on more than one occasion that I should go to a Home Depot or wherever and buy a roll of screen material and tape it up over an open sliding patio door on nice nights.

Sorry that I have no odd-ball pics to post. But great idea for a thread. ANd OMG--that BWV 1 BR is amazing! Talk about lucking out when you get that!

Wow! I want this one the next time we stay there! Do you remember the room number?

TO WM Cricket: My guess is that this is one reason why you don't see more pictures. People might prefer to keep some things less public, especially when there are only a few rooms at a resort that fit the description.

Another reason might be because the DIS board photo posting forum seems to be down for quite some time now. But that might just be me unable to figure it out! :confused3

I cant even find it anymore.:confused3

Here is a description (I never have figured out how to post pics and besides I'm at work, eating my lunch :lmao: )

VWL: On the third floor, off the elevator to the right, down the short hallway, the hallway makes a "T" at the end. We had the 1 bed room to the left, it had narrow windows on each side of the bed. So it was a bit of extra natural light. And there were no rooms above us. At that point it is only three stores. This is the side that faces the lodge. It was also a dedicated 1-bdrm, so it had an extra closet in the foyer instead of a door to a studio.

May not be too odd, but it was different from the norm.

I would also like to see some other pics.

Anyone? :confused3 :confused3

I believe 2123 (smoking), 3123 and 4123 are the numbers for these corner rooms. HUGE balcony. Two very annoying little things: REALLY poor lighting in kitchen area (could hardly see at night on counters) and NO shelf or ledge in shower to put shampoo, etc. (I think because the shower is smaller than other 1 bedrooms) so had to keep stuff on the floor. But the view of fireworks from the balcony was amazing and the living room area is really large.

Always a trade off huh? ;)

Don't forget, I can always help those that need help posting the photos.

This is the upload page link
