Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

Definitely a waste of money! You would think they could find a way to see that I had already customized AND received my magic bands before spending the money to send me that letter overnight air!

The funny part was I've been logging into the MDE almost daily and I just had happened to see I was part of FP+ and MB, so upon clicking around I found the Customize link and it said "hurry customize now, they are shipping soon" and the next day they were no longer available to be customized and THEN I got the email about the test and to be sure to customize my bands.

Even though I'm 25 days out now, I'm thinking they should send these to the resorts to allow extra time for people to customize, sure they would miss out on the Magical Express part of the band right now, but at least they'd get a customized band.

That way there is no "crossing in the mail" going on with bands arriving before the letters.

RE: The shipper confusion - I got 2 more emails this morning. Another one from UPS with a different shipper and tracking number, and then one from Disney saying the MagicBand shipped, and the tracking number in that email matched the second UPS email (the shipper in that one was NGE).

Only one package showed up and it was the band... But knowing my neighborhood UPS guys they might come back later with a letter.

Our resort (POFQ) is in the first batch of resorts that are joining the FP+ testing on 9/30. wonder if I will ever get one. MB need to be customized by 9/19.

So glad I log into MDE at least once a day and saw we had FP+ last Thursday; if not would have found out here on the DIS.

No invitation here either but saw on MDE that we could personalize our Magic Bands and select FP+. Bands are waiting on the front porch when I get home today!

Ugh so I finished customizing my bands on Friday. They haven't shipped yet but I have 6 more days left until I can no longer customize them. Is that what it's waiting for? The 6 days have to be up before they ship despite me being done with customizing?

I customized Friday but don't know when my deadline is. We check in Oct 6. Never received a shipping notification but did receive a delivery notice today.

Apparently, yes (that's how I understand it). I have "2 days" left so I expect our MB's will ship on Friday or Monday.

I expect to receive my "invitation to test" in a few weeks...

The deadline to make changes/customize appears to be 30 days prior to your trip. My deadline is September 19 and our trip is October 19. Hope that helps!

I have the same dates as you. What is weird though ... When I go online, it says I have until the 19th to customize, but on the MDE app, it says today is the last day. No big deal. I know we will get our MBs this week. Just thought it was curious.

I customized ours on Sept 13th and we check in Oct 6th so past the 30 day mark. Our Magic Bands arrived today so looks liek it still worked.

Just got home to find two parcels on in my door!

One being a Overnighted piece of paper saying "You are invited to help test MyMagic+" and on the back side of it it says "you have till October 2, 2013 to confirm my address for my magic bands to be shipped to your home"

the second parcel is........MY MAGIC BANDS! Good thing I didn't wait till October 2nd to confirm and customize my magic bands

They are already linked to your MDE profile and active out of the box.

The MDE app says "1 day remaining to customize your MagicBands" and "Customize by: September 18, 2013" (tomorrow) but the MDE website shows 2 more days to customize and a customize date as September 19.

I'm assuming the website is correct because that's 30 days prior, but who knows? Either way I expect to see our MB's by Monday (but am secretly hoping for this Friday). I was able to customize them just after the 60 day mark, so it's felt like a LONG month waiting! lol

Quite possibly. For ours, we had until 9/2 to customize and we received them on 9/4.
