We will be spending a few days at Universal before our cruise next year. We will arrive in Orlando late afternoon on Memorial Day. I am trying to decide which days to do which park! We have Tues, Wed, Thurs, & Fri to work with. We are getting a room onsite.

Any suggestions???

Thanks,

Kayla

We were there this past Memorial Day week and the crowds did not pick up until about THursday which was JUne 2nd, out last day. I recommend the Royal pacific club level, it was so worht it for the food.

Thanks!

I am thinking about doing Tuesday evening/afternoon, then checking in to the onsite hotel early Wednesday morning. Using our early entry for Wed & Thurs. We are staying in a house for the week so we would only use the onsite room for the FOTL access.

I have heard that we will want to see Harry Potter at night!?!

Which parks did you do on which days?

We were there June 3rd and 4th of this year - the weekend following Memorial Day. We stayed on site at the HRH, and honestly, with the exception of a few rides, we did not need FOTL access. The parks just weren't that crowded. We went to both parks on both days. We ended up at HP about an 1 1/2 hour before closing on Friday night, and TFJ was a walk on. The four kids with me did the Ollivander's wand show with only about a 10 minute wait that night. We went for early access the next morning, and everything was much more crowded - the wait for Ollivander's was at least an hour or more, and as we were leaving Hogwart's, the standby line was outside of the castle, going over the bridge.

We have decided that if we go the same week next year, staying onsite just isn't a must do for us anymore. We are DVC, and used to staying in larger villas, and it was hard for the 4 of us to stay in one room at the HRH.

We have DVC also and have gotten spoiled to bigger rooms!! No way we could do a standard hotel room anymore. When we travel for sports it is brutal if we have to stay more than 1 nite!

I am only going to do the one nite onsite-to maximize the usage for 2 days. I would love for the crowds to be so sparse that we didn't need it, that would be nice!

Thanks so much for the info!

Kayla
