Any nor'easters drive Feb vacation?

Looking for reports from anyone who has visited or usually visits WDW Feb vacation week and drives from the Northeast. Haven't even taken my October trip yet and already starting to plan next Feb ! LOL! We have always flown, but the budget might be tighter next year, so I'm thinking about driving. For those that have done this, how often has winter weather hampered your plans? And usually how far south do you have to go before you don't really have to worry about the weather anymore?

We did it this past February , it was kind of a spur of the moment trip and we drove, left in a snow storm from PA all the way to past Richmond Virginia, only there it started clearing. Then on the way back.....don't remind me, we drove through the big Presidents Day weekend blizzard. We spent the night in North Carolina , but still the next day was miserable.
I will not drive again unless I really have to! oh yeah, and on the way down , we almost got killed because the two cars infront of us lost control of the car, crashed against each other, crashed into the one on one side and we were lucky enough we could get around the other side, but we came half an inch away from hitting them too, the one behind us hit them too. Scary.

We went this past February. The ride down was wonderful--- and with that time of year construction is at a minimum. Well, on the way home--- we too hit the blizzard over President's Day. It was terrible--- all the way through the entire states of Virginia-- W. Virginia & most of PA. Until we reached just north of Pittsburgh-- it was as if nobody plowed. We were just reaching the WV/PA line when a driving ban was issued for much of WV. Needless to say-- DH nor I have ever flown. Well, this trip home was so awful that we hae decided our next trip-- we are going to finally fly. And when I say awful driving-- we live 20 minutes from Buffalo-- and you know the reputation we have.
