Any News (or rumors) on regular Room Only Codes?

Anyone hear any news or rumors about room only codes? I'm trying to help a friend plan his Jun trip and he doesnt have an annual pass or Disney Visa so I was wondering if anyone had heard anthing...I dont see them on Mousesavers so curious as to if any one had heard anything interesting....

I'm personally still waiting for those Annual passholder codes for July! Pixie Dust Everyone!

Heard a rumor that new room-only codes may be released March 9th!

Does he have AAA? We do and I saved 15% off my original reservation. I just called back and said I had AAA - they asked for my membership # and changed my reservations right then.

yea yea ....i heard the same rumor....march 9th...which is a WONDERFUL DAY...cause its my birthday............i know there is a summer dream maker package coming out that day..and they are supposed to release some other stuff that day too.........lets keep our fingers crossed...and toes ...and legs...and ..and ..well you get the point....

I wonder if you will be able to book these rooms via the
Disney website. I know sometimes you can but it takes a few days. I think Tuesday will be busy at CRO for calling. What do you think? I am so excited and nervous. Hoping for May 1st-8th at 2 moderates.

These rates look nice - but I didn't see a "code" associated with them. Wonder if you just call and ask about it? Wonder if you can convert an existing reservation to this? I'm going in June - but already reservations with AAA discount.

OK so i called CRO today Saturday 3/6 got told that the room code can't be booked yet! Got told to call back on Tuesday since that is when the code is going to start to be booked. So I hope i can get in and get the days I need May 22 and 23. Hoping for either Yacht/Beach Club or BWI. My fingers are crossed.

Looks like you may have to wait until 3/9 to book with the code. Mousesavers has an "alert" on their homepage that Mary will post the codes on Tuesday morning, first thing. The announcement states that it will be for room-only discounts for stays 4/18/04-7/04/04 and they are for the general public.

Well at least they were nice enough to say that. I thought I would give it a try and the CM must have been the least helpful person Ive ever encountered at Disney- I felt like I was annoying her. She said oh, must be an old code or something, its not a Disney code. She asked if I saw in on the DW website, I said "no",she asked...Where did you find it? I said "oh, on another website". I said okay, never mind. She said, well would you like to book a room with the regular rates, I glumly said no, unfortunately I cant afford it. She seemed a little softer after that.
I dont want to wait til Nov to go, I want to go in early May. But I just cant afford it in May right now. Even with AAA, I still get 5 nights in Nov for the price of 4 in May.

I feel a fool for calling. Like I did something bad.

At least I know the dates these codes are available for. I am looking for my sister, who is going late Sept/early Oct and I am going in Dec. Mornings around here are busy enough without my sitting on hold with CRO only to be told the dates I need are not available!!

We're looking for lower than rack rates for the Poly for July 8-11, 2004, as we're leaving for a 4 might curise on the Wonder on July 11. Any thoughts if or when something might be available for those dates? We're also looking for low Southwest Air tickets, it seems that July is higher than it was last year. Thanks for your thoughts.
