any news on captain cooks

I am going next sunday to disney and staying at the polynesian I keep hearing they are moving captain cooks anyone have any info on this

Don't know when this is happening but it couldn't be soon enough.

As far as I'm concerned they could move it right out of Orlando. We ended up doing concierge in October just so I wouldn't have to even enter this place. It's clean, but!

Watered down drinks, worst coffee I ever drank, awful food.

For a deluxe resort I'm surprised at how bad this place is. Hopefully this will be as good as Animal Kingdom Lodge's food court.

I don't think it is being moved. I checked at tikiman's site http://tikiman2001.homestead.com/index.html and nothing was mentioned.

My DH and I thought this CS was tasty and convenient. Maybe not stellar but it had good snacks and our burgers were fine. We were looking funky from the pool and decided a quick stop for some dinner to take back to the room certainly was a good idea. I don't have any other resort CS to compare it to but I thought it was fine.

We were there recently and Captain Cook's is in the same place. It looks like they are going to enlarge it where the shops used to be. They are doing over that whole area. It can use more space IMHO. I don't know when it will be finished, but it didn't look like any time too soon.

We are staying there in May and I was wondering if someone could tell me what kind of meals they serve for a dinner? I'm sure we'll be eating one CS meal at the Poly (we are on the dining plan) and I was wondering what types of food are available for our family. Thanks!
