Any new storm photos???

Anyone got any storm photos? Mine are not that great, it was rainign and I could not get the shot I wanted, then DH came home and messed up my set up!!!!!

We have lived in our house 7 years and the basketball goal has NEVER moved.... We were debating if we should trade in the Camaro or not becasue it needs a bit of work, I take this as a sign we should keep it!

We are thankfully not one of the 200,000 without power they were talking about on the news.

It got pretty nasty around here last night. We were activated and I grabbed the camera as I was running out to the car.

I got two lightening shots, but nothing all that great. I never even thought about getting shots of the trees and fences we saw down.

I was mostly focused on the wind and watching the sky though. Our towns 911 system was flooded with reports of a funnel cloud at the far north end of town so DH and I offered to go check that out. It was nothing more than some low dark clouds - thank goodness.

Glad you came through it OK. That was some wicked wind kinda spooky as we sat there with my DHs Saturn VUE facing into it. The whole car was rocking. Glad we were facing into it and not sideways - I can easily see how those small planes got overturned.

Yep. Our near miss with the Camaro has prompted DH to decide not only that we will fix it instead of trading it in, but now he is looking at mods for it!

The last storm before this one knocked my nieghbors basketball goal (same type) into his Expedition. Needless to say he was NOT a happy camper. He's the type of guy who washes it once a week and babies it, even though his wife drives it most of the time. He has a worked provided vehicle. Although when you spend that kind of $$$$ I can understand getting a bit upset

i still have a nice sized puddle in my front yard from the melted snow/ rain we've had and it squishes when you walk in it, eww, oh well good excuse not to have to cut the grass which is getting pretty long

We just got more rain dumped on us, it is causing more minor flooding around here. The side of my yard which has a slight drainage problem now has a good 6 inches of standing water.

Anyone got any spare ark wood?

Yes, we are too - and these photos are the closest we have got to clouds for weeks!

They were taken from my back deck - it was a most spectacular sunset - everything around glowed orange. There was a lot of smoke and dust around which I believe is what created the light show.

These are incredible.

There are storms in the area - but no precipitation at my house. We saw about 5 drops hit the car on the way to the Beach club last evening!
