I am certain the discounts will come. It is the fall which is the slowest season. I think they just want to get as many people to book under FD as possible first and then go the room only route. They probably make way more money off people who book under free dining b/c they are def getting the money from the park tickets and keeping them in the parks for meals, etc.
It is just a matter of time for the room only discounts.
We have a FD booked at BC but will def switch to a 1 bedroom villa somewhere if I can get 40% off. Just not a good enough deal to do FD in a villa for our family. THe room only saves us much more $$, plus we don't need the dining plan in a villa.
