Any new participants in the DDE program?

They keep adding to the dining plan, just wondered about DDE participation. Is there an official place to view participants that is current? I know about the allears site, just wondered if there was another spot to reference. Thanks.

Since virtually all Disney owned sit down and buffet restaurants participate in DDE, as well as counter service at AK and resorts that do not have a full service restaurants, there would be very little for them to "add".

The original purpose of DDE was not as a discount card for every WDW guest that has an AP, but as an incentive to get local Floridians to consider having a nice dinner at a WDW restaurant...since prices on property are higher tha off-site and it is a bit of a drive from Orlando.

I think part of the reason they opened it up to APholders was because of the MYW dining package. There are probably some AP holder staying onsite that really wish they could participate because it may be an even better deal than 20% off with DDE that you pay an extra $50 for and gives more flexibility with the snack and counterservice options. I was wondering if the DDE would open up to more areas now that their is participation beyond FL residents and users are making comparisons to MYW dining programs. But I digress...

I was hoping to find a link somewhere that keeps an updated list just in case it expands. I'm specifically interested in Disney owed restaurants at Downtown Disney, TL and BB increasing participation. I can hope, at least...

I think with 26555 about why it was open to AP holders. Plus a lot of DVC members have APs and we are not allowed to participate in the dining plan. My family plans to get a DDE card and going out to eat more next trip b/c of it.

Glad you like them. I found them by accident. They were very helpful without taking up a lot of space. We actually had lunch at one of the places I didn't know was on the list. I whipped that sucker out just to be sure and PRESTO!!! there it was.

Just wanted everyone to know that last month I was at Victoria Falls at AK and they said they were not on the DDE list. They even showed me the list they had. They said that they gave discounts to no one that the discount key of the register had been taken out. So they could not give the discount.

Ahh, a coveted master list. Now if Disney would just share this with DDE cardholders by putting it on their website like they do MYW dining program info. Thanks, no VFs for me.

According to the list, House of Blues isn't on it yet...bummer.
