Any New I-Drive or LBV Hotels?

Last year, for the off-site portion of our vacation, we found a brand new Fairfield Inn near Sea World which had only been open six days. Very nice.

So, I was wondering if any new hotels have opened in the last couple months, or soon will, in either the International drive and/or Lake Buena Vista (near Crossroads & Palm Parkway) areas?

I know those hotels next to Sea World are fairly new,I also stayed at the Hilton next to the convention center early this year and I think it had only been open for 2 months or so so it must be 6-8 months old now.

There is also Parc Soleil on Turkey Lake Rd. It is a timeshare by Hilton that opened about 6 or 7 months ago.

Hilton has opened a number of properties in the area over the last 2 years. There is the Convention Center location, Parc Soleil, Bonnet Creek, and the Waldorf Astoria.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I was really looking for something less expensive than the Parc Soleil or a Hilton (think Fairfield or Hampton or Country Inn, maybe Sleep or Comfort, etc.), but that still gives me a starting point.

You might be surprised at some of the rates you can find for some of these hotels.I got the brand new Hilton next to the Convention Center for $63 and other hotels like the Rosen Centre and the Rosen Shingle Creek for $50-$55.

It's not technically new, but the Comfort Inn LBV on Palm Parkway recently got a complete refurbishment. New carpets, floors, furniture, linens, lobby, etc. We stayed there last month and it was very clean and worked great for our 10 day stay. It would be more in your price range than a Hilton.

The Marriott properties (Fairfield, Courtyard, SpringHill) that comprise the Marriott Village are all well kept and usually priced at a reasonable rate. But I also agree with what someone else said in that you can usually find a much cheaper rate for the newer Hilton than those advertised on their website.

Holiday Inn in Downtown Disney just re-opened after a major overhaul. Great location!
