Any new guesses about SW schedule opening?

OK...any new predictions about when the dates will open? Last time it opened until September 12 and I need September 13!! Does anyone remember what day that was? Wasn't it in mid-April? Anyone?

IF I remember right, they opened up Sept 12th on April 12th. Waiting for Sept 30th thru Oct 15th. This is the first time I have flown in years. now, the way they are making us wait this out, i'm ready to drive again. At least I would know I was getting there.

They usually release new travel dates on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Some on these boards are speculating this Thursday, May 25th. SW tends to add new dates about 110 days out and Thursday is that time.

Guess we will have to wait and see.

if you book a flight, then get a Ding, you will need to cancel your original flight, get a SW credit, then rebook the Ding fare using the SW credit to pay. This will give you a leftover SW credit that will need to be used within one year from the date of the original purchase.

Oh, and it's easier if you book your flights as one ways instead of round trip, that way if a sale or a Ding comes up for only one leg of your trip, you can easily just cancel and rebook the one leg instead of the entire reservation.

For what it's worth ... we booked Dec. 1-11/ 2005 on July 15, 2005 - the day it was released. I know this because that is the day that my credit (from re-booking to a ding fare) was supposed to expire ... now with the vouchers they sent me, it has been extended to 1/15/07 so we can use them for our Oct. trip
