I am looking to build upon my podcast library of podcasts focused on disney parks, specifically strategies, news, and trip reports.

I recently started listening to wdw kingdom cast. I have consistently listened to disboards podcast, communicore, wdw today, wedway, and a number of others.

Is there something new or a podcast you recommend the board should listen to?

Hands down Lou Mongello over at WDWradio. The absolute best!

I also enjoy Be Our Guest and Inside the Magic.

If you like the kingdom cast podcast, you might like WDW Fanboys. I also like the Unofficial Disney Guide's Disney Dish with Jim Hill.

I have listened to wdw radio a bunch, especially if I want a sanitized disney... same with Be Our Guest.

I am subscribing to wdw fanboys right now and will give them a go today or tomorrow. I like kingdomcast because the hosts are definitely true passionate wdw fans and are candid in their wdw analysis.

I listen to Be Ou Guest and Mouse Chat.

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

I listen to
DIS Unplugged
WDW Radio
Mousechat

And one I didnt' see mentioned yet, WDW Today. It features Len Testa of Unofficial Guide / Touring Plans.

Yep. I like Lou Mongello, but I don't think I've ever heard him say a single criticism of anything Disney related. Sometimes it makes you think you're listening to a podcast produced by Disney's marketing group.

The hosts of the others I mentioned are all pretty open about things they do and don't like. Especially our own Pete Werner.

Yes. I had to stop listening to Lou...the rah-rah-Disney thing gets old really quick.

I also like The Unofficial Guide's Disney Dish with Jim Hill....Jim can get annoying sometimes but he seems to get the scoop on some things that others don't. He's not always right, but it's usually interesting.

I just listened to the latest wdw fanboys. They're definitely passionate. I have added them to my library, thanks.

I think wdw kingdomcast is the best current disney podcast, especially if you enjoy cynical attitudes but still a bunch of love for disney.

Peter Werner and the gang at DIS Unplugged are great. Also inside the magic is a really good one.

I listen to a bunch of them, but I also know what to expect when I do.

Sometimes i'm craving a pixie dust sledge hammer over the head...so I pop on some Lou

Other times, I want my round up news and frank opinions, so its off to Unplugged I go.

THe rest I use as filler b/c between these 2 I can get most of my day to day info.

I didn't know about "Be our Guest" I'll add that one to the queue

Love me some Pete Werner and his band of misfits. I don't usually miss many podcasts lately. He is my most regular cast I listen to...

Check out my new'ish weekly podcast: The Wonders of the World (v24wonders.podbean.com)

I'd love to hear feedback. Thank you in advance for listening!

I highly recommend the Generation Mouse podcast (generationmouse.net). But I'm one of the co-hosts so I have to say that ;). If you like Disney food, you gotta listen to the DFB podcast (that is, Disney a Food Blog) as well.

Am I the only one who had no idea there were this many Disney podcast options??

But then again, I'd surfed the Dis for years before finally giving the Dis Unplugged a try a few months ago -- and now I never miss an episode of Pete and the team! Their podcast this week of the "Little Things" was just wonderful.

Thanks for all the new ideas!

I love Be Our Guest Podcast!
Passionate as well as humble, although i find most humble and fun!

good thread!:cool1:

New to Ipad and it's apps don't have a smart phone... so this may sound like a stupid question.......
are these podcasts (mentioned in posts above) all available on youtube? or do you listen/view them mainly using Ipad apps?
My DD and I thoroughly enjoy the DIS Unplugged gang and keep up with theirs on youtube, have seen some of Lou's on youtube, but in searching, don't find too many other good ones on youtube.
Can you point me in the right direction? Sorry for being such a tech-idiot! :upsidedow

You can listen on a computer, but most podcasts are probably not on YouTube. There are quite a few podcast aggregators out there that you can download to your computer. Do a Google search for "podcast aggregator" and pick one that works for your system. From there, it's a matter of finding the podcasts and "subscribing" so that new episodes get downloaded automatically. Most aggregators have a search function to make it easy to find podcasts. If you have iTunes on your computer, there is a podcast section built in and you can listen directly from iTunes.

Good luck! :thumbsup2
