Any MUST Have Food at the Water Parks?

This is the first trip we have two full days planned at the water parks (my DS5 is just bursting to go!) We'll be visiting both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.

I've heard of the famous donuts they serve, but is there anything else that's popular? Any specialty sandwiches? Any stand out lunch items? I know they have slushie adult beverages, any recommendations??

I've seen that the kid's meals come in a pail w/shovel - the kids will love that!

I'm just hoping for a decent CS meal. We're not CS fans, we're on the DxDDP and normally do TS meals.

A "decent" meal is about you'll get at the water parks, IMO. We do love the mini donuts you mentioned and get those everytime we go, but the meals at both water parks are very average. I usually don't look forward to the food there, sorry...

Well, I wouldn't necessarily so it's a MUST HAVE, but we always enjoyed getting the "Garbage Pail" to share from the ice cream place at TL. Not sure what the place is called, but it is a stand alone ice cream "Shack" in front of the CS restaurant nearest the front of the park.

The price has gone up over the years, but it is basically a child's sand pail (new) that comes with a shovel. They build a sundae in the pail with a variety of toppings and soft serve ice cream. Easily 3-4 people could share - or 2 hungry adults. If there is something listed that you don't like, you can special order that it not be added. We would always have them omit the marshmellows and to only use the vanilla ice cream.

It's a lot of fun to eat as a family and you get plenty of looks from the other diners at the tables (same eating area used by CS patrons).
