Any More Info on the NEW Illuminations Dessert Party??

Using that logic, the MK dessert party is $19 for adult, plus tax and tip.

Not (implied faulty) logic. Simple math. $24.09 plus 18% service charge plus 6.5% tax.

I had booked this for May, but the lack of seating caused me to cancel. If they add seating I may be kicking myself for canceling tho!

The minute I read about it I said "I want to do this on our next WDW trip". Then I saw there was no seating and scratched it off my list. I wonder how long it will take them to realize they got that wrong.

Agreed. I honestly don't understand what they are thinking. Do they really believe their guests want to be on their feet all day, touring the parks, and then have to stand at tiny tables for a couple of hours, and pay $$$ to do so?

They didn't think this one thru, imho.

I'm going to wdw the week before Easter. I had originally reserved it for the 16th and then canceled after the reviews I saw. I was curious and checked and that day is still available. I would expect if it was going to fill up it would have that week for sure lol

I too had booked this for the first weekend in April and was a little shocked at the price especially since I do not drink but MK Tomorrow Dessert party has been booked solid and I wanted to try something like this. It is harder sometimes to get a table for one than a table for six. Happily a spot for one popped up in one of my random checks and I booked it and cancelled this one. Boy, am I glad now. This looks like a poor substitute at double the price, I would have been totaling pissed at spending fifty dollars for this! JMOA But no seats for any of the time and I am getting too old to sit on the ground unless I have a crane to haul me up, especially after desserts! LOL I know everything Disney is a little more expensive but this is ridiculous.
