Any meet Moana strategies out there?

I've heard the wait can be pretty long - anyone have any luck with a short wait and if so what day/time did you go?

Haven’t personally done it but I’ve seen other people on here and other sm sites saying that rope dropping her meet is the best option to meet her without a ridiculous wait time since she only meets until 3:00pm, I believe.

I think people have been heading over to where she meets near Dinoland at the tail end of the morning extra hours so that they’re amongst the first lot of people when she starts meeting at park open but I think even that has caught on now.

Do you know if they cut off the line at a certain point or if they let on until 3pm? One of our options we were thinking of is park hopping AK and not getting there until 2pm so I wonder if we would miss it?

I’m not sure if there’s a cut off point or not, I’m afraid sorry. Hopefully someone else on here will have a more helpful answer for you.

We were there the 1st part of June and the line wasn't that long but it didn't move. There are 2 parts to the line - the holding area and then once you get the ok to go ahead you and maybe 2 other parties go down the path to the meet and greet which takes about 5-10 minutes max for all parties at the meet and greet area. The holding area is the side of the building where the restrooms across from Flame Tree BBQ so it isn't that long and will back up into the main walkway. When we arrived we made to about 3/4 way of the building but it was a good 45 minute wait from that point to get to the go ahead to meet her. We went around 11:30 or so.
